I would reinstall the game. I've found other people having issues similar to yours. Try googling "Silkroad Runtime Errors" and you will a few people having the same issues as you.

Actually check this out, seems to be a well publicized issue with the Silkroad community:

1. Restart ur unit. Running the unit for long periods of time results in too much cache files.

2. Ur brother's unit has 2 gig of RAM. Test each dimm by removing one at a time. Boot up ur unit and login to silkroad. Close all programs running except silkroad. This approach makes it easier to determine whats the probable cause of ur problem.

3. If ur going to re-install the entire game make sure to delete its folder in "X:\Program Files\"

Drive: <X> refers to the partition or harddrive u have used.

Online games patch regularly and this updates are left in the game folder once u un-installed it.

If u reinstall the game without deleting it chances are they will interfere with the games normal operation.

Uninstall java runtime programs and download the latest one from sun microsystems.

Its down to the process of elimination I guess. I'm still not convinced that this is Hardware related issue. If I had a similar machine I would install the game and try to replicate the issue.

Worse case scenario, do a clean install of windows and don't install any apps, just Silkroad.

I would also go back to see what patches and windows updates you installed on the day that your errors started appearing.

If ur dimms are faulty it could cost ur system to hang up.

Silkroad Online is a 3d game which means. It uses a lot of physical ram to run smoothly.

If either one of the two dimms are faulty it could cause ur system to hang up.

Please state what brand of dimm's are installed in ur unit.

Generic brands has a higher fault rate compared to branded once.

The fact that u ran multiple games at the same time and leave ur unit running for long periods of time.

This types of abuse cannot be handled by Generic RAM.

And last time u used a third party hardware monitoring tool. This gives me an idea that it has somehow mess up with ur system.

I'm using kingston 1GB ddr667 for my athlonx2 and pentium d rig
