The Mitsubishi Lovers Thread

I so much agree with you. I just replaced my 96 Lancer with a 2007 one. I brought it at Citimotors Makati to have is service for its 1000km checkup.

When I got my car after a 3 hour delay from the estimated time they commited to be finished. I felt that my car had been driven on the rally field.

Then I popped the hood

and I saw grease all over the engine bay. Walang hiya! Pagkatapos pa nun ay pinasevice ko pa sa Parts&Accessories shop nila kasi wala pang isang buwan pundido na yung driver side fog lamps that they have installed.

And I was dumb enough to purchase and let them install a chrome side molding only to have it sent back after a week because umangat yung hindi pantay na pagkakadikit na sumabit pa sa paint ng pinto ko. PUNYETA!

May 5000km check up pa ako natitira.

Thanks

Long time Mitsubishi fan -

75 Galant,

91 L300

93 L200

94 Lancer

95 Pajero

98 Spacewagon

Yung seat covers at floormats madumi. At yung transmission - SIRA PA RIN!!!!!

%$##^&())(*&)(*^%%$&&I*()(&* CItimorons yan!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long time mitsu car owner here ..... kasi yung family friend namin mitsu dealer kaya parang obligado kaming bumili sa kanila lagi :P

76 Lancer EL L-type

83 Lancer GSR box type

89 Lancer GLX

(93 toyota corolla GLi)

(97 honda accord VTi)

99 Strada 4X4

05 Montero Sport

never had any complaints with my mitsu vehicles

for maintenance, I always go to diamond motors QA or Libis .... good service lagi :thumbsupsmiley:

for parts, either casa or el dorado lang

^ The one at Libis is the Valle Verde branch right? I have to agree.. We got our 2003 Pajero Field Master there, so it gets serviced there and we have no complaints at all.. :thumbsupsmiley:

I back read, and all I saw were good stuff.. We would most probably buy the 2007 Lancer over other cars..

After much research, I heard that the "arangkada" of the 2007 Lancer GLX is slow, but overall, okay naman daw.. The car won't be used for racing naman eh.. hahaha... I'd rather get the Lancer than the Vios/City because its a full-sized sedan and is much much cheaper than the Altis, Sentra or the Civic.. Gusto lang namin magka-kotse na pwedeng laspagin sa negosyo.. and the price and the review of the Lancer suits us well.. :thumbsupsmiley:

i think the type Rs require 100+ octane gasoline.

the closest is blaze with 98 RON.

so you have to retard the timing and hence lose power (tama ba? hehe)

so sayang sa Pinas, but you cannot beat the power of the badge

I heard sa states that diff countries have diff ways of computing for the octane level.. as for the japanese highest nila ata 100 octane pero heard that it is just the same with our highest octane gasoline which is 95-98.. in the us, so far the highest i've seen in gas station is 92..

pero, based on personal experience, i really dont notice any power improvements sa lowest octane and highest that ive tried.. nasa isip lang ung sinasabing napapansin ung difference, siguro may slight advantage in power but too little to be notice in stock and semi modified engines kahit dyno pa.. pero one thing's for sure, pag naka port & polish ka, use the best ones, dahil mas maganda at malinis ung internals mo and specially sa mahilig sa walang air filters.. pero hindi ko advice sa stock engines.. isa pa, hindi ka rin nakakatipid using it and not practical.

correct me if i'm wrong, factory or stock type r engines can perform well even with the use of unleaded gasolines.

Just to need to replace the pulley kasi medyo nagslip na. @rafer pre I think medyo mahal yung 20k na compressor, I found some ads brand new na sanden around 5k or 6k lang at pang 134a na siya.

The best selling compact sedan in the philippine market. If ever I will buy a sedan the choice is perhaps this one and the evo

ang layo ng comparison, they aren't of the same class.

i agree...comparing an evo to a civic or corolla is absurd...ang ka level nila sa mitsubishi is the standard lancer sedan type not the evo version...

evo costs 2 million above compared to corolla or civic which costs 900k!

Nakapagdrive na ako ng EVO 5 and EVO 6, the ride was horrible because of the stiff suspension, pero ok lang yun kelangan eh. stock lang both cars with the exception of full exhaust and blowoff valves. ok ang power. impreza i havent driven one pa, pero someone i knew owns this and they tried it sa NLEX, umabot daw ng 300 kph.
