i think di na ibebenta ng smb ang game ngayon. i also hope danny i suits up for today's game. they badly missed him out there last time out. when pena and adducul both got into foul trouble (not to mention the fact that the referees were trigger happy in blowing their whistles against smb), san miguel got clobbered off the board and that's when reavis made a living. i hope the refs call if fair this time since di na ma-ssweep ang ginebra. not unless gusto talaga ipapanalo ni danding/henry ang ginebra... :cry:

I really don't mind Ginebra winning, I just have 2 observations on that game.

 

1. The refs was too harsh in calling fouls on the SMB players, a lot of them has got 3 fouls or more. SMB was on the penalty most of the time which gave BGK a lot of points to pile up that lead. The refs practically handed BGK the momentum.

 

2. Why on earth was SMB not taking the shots from the 3 point area? in that second half? It's what got them those first 2 wins and they did not use it when they needed it most? It kinda made me think.

in all honesty i think smb is the best ball club in the pba, period! kahit ano pa sabihin ng iba, if you look at their roster they have the best line up in the league....even if you compare it to the line up of ginebra. they can score at will if they want to and they have proven it. i think their 2nd stringers can be a starting 5 for other teams, that's how strong i think they are.

 

in this series, it's a matter of economics....if wouldn't be good for the pba, financial wise, if smb swept the series, right?

halatang pamigay un game 3...3 drop pass ang na anticipate ng ginebra..same spot...sunod sunod...so parang binigay nalang un game..feeling ko para kumita naman un pba or what... meron pa kong na pansin...ang line up nila is ...danny s., hontiveros, tugade, tenorio..and 1 more ( i cant remember kung wilson or espinas), samantalang sa gin kings.... menk, caguioa, helterbrand, johnny a and salvacion. after ng 3 consecutive turn over. di man lang nag attempt un smb na mag time out....feeling ko pamigay talaga..babawe tayo sa friday... :grr:

Dati hindi ako naniniwala na wala bentahan ng game sa PBA pero sa napanood ko kagabi eh parang ganun ang nangyari. Si Chot relax na relax kahit tinatambakan na ng malaki ang SMB, nakakaduda talaga. Tapos may time pa na ang pinasok eh halos puro offensive player. I smell something fishy....

I don't mean to butt in in this thread since I am a BGK fan but I can't help but react to the lack of respect some people have on Ginebra's Game 3 win.

 

Again, Game 4 was a blowout. So, I guess the conspiracy theory would go something like this:

 

"Si Adducul nag-init ang ulo! Di naman ganun yun except pag Red Bull! Puro Technical Fouls pa! Di masyado naka-score si Tugade! Halatang pinagbigyan! Tapos dami na-shoot ang Ginebra eh mas magaling dapat ang SMB!"

 

Come on folks. I don't expect you to cheer for BGK. When BGK lost, you were saying sweep, right? Maybe it's Ginebra's time. If SMB wins they are clearly the better team. So, if they lose, that's probably the handiwork of "some suits"!

Mga bro's...ewan ko kung tama ang rinig ko pero ala daw laro sa sunday? sa wednesday na daw ulit?....ano meron?...ala naman extra ordinary na happening para i-move un laro....la naman bagyo or what...anyway....sobrang physical game un kahapon...kala ko natanggalan pa ng ngipin si hontiveros...kung muscle lang ang pag uusapan...ang lalaki ng players ng smb...peña, adducul, danny i....dapat kung ganun un laro ng ginebra dapat dinaan nalang din nila sa physical game....tapos si chot nakaupo lang...pailing-iling...ano ba meron....magagalit ba si bossing pag tinalo kaagad un ginebra..sana walang ganun..kase isang building lang din naman sila pumupunta pag swelduhan... :grr:
