If kaya ko lang talaga sabhin mga nasa utak ko. Ang hirap pala pag pigil lang mga thoughts, pag d ka makasalita. 

 

If only there's a safe place to be who you are, without judgements, walang tumataas ang kilay, walang mag bbible verse, walang mag aacting perfect, walang maritess, walang Karen.

Thanks much! I've been meaning to say that- it's been sitting in my head for a while. But I figured, might as well write it here, not just for me but for the women still grinding in the industry, and for the GMs who sometimes forget. Just something to ease my mind na rin. Hehe 😊

I’m no longer in this line of work, but it’s something i’ll always carry with me. And recently, I found myself thinking about the women who still do it... quietly, bravely, showing up for others while holding so much of themselves.

Most of the people I met back then were kind. Generous pa nga. And I’m really thankful for that. But every now and then, there would be someone bastos, entitled, acting like respect doesn’t apply just because of the job you do.

And I just wanna say this- they’re still people. May puso. May boundaries. Napapagod din. And they deserve to be treated with dignity, always.

To the women still in the industry, I see you. And I hope more people see you, too. Not just for what you do, but for who you are.

And to the clients, lalo na yung mga nakakalimot, please be kind. Please be respectful. Just because you’re paying doesn’t mean you own someone’s worth.

Respect is the bare minimum.
Class never goes out of style.

Why would people feel almighty just because they pay someone no? Toxic masculinity. A social construct that empowers men just because they have more. Hope you’ll be successful in whatever you do!

Omg yes! Grabe no, parang may invisible crown sila just 'cause they can pay? Like hello, being kind is free din naman? 😅 But yeah, toxic masculinity talaga. Akala nila power is about control, not realizing real power is how you treat people. Anyway, thank you ha. Wishing you success din, the kind that doesn’t step on anyone. Pwede naman.  Go for it.  I worked for 12 years as OFW.  Nakabili ako ng condo sa Makati.  Sakto lang, natapos bayaran and also nakapag-ipon ng P4M para sa retirement.   Tapos nun, balik na sa Pinas, working here and enjoying fruits of labor with some spa, MP, and beerhaus sprinkled in-between.    My goal is to save extra para maging P6M retirement fund ko then it's up to me kung gusto ko na huminto full time sa work or continue but doing part-time work instead.
