calvinzero
Realistically, applicants with Master's degree plus added job experience/s is a big plus to be a top company officer. Actually, sa Master's pa lang, mapipiga ang utak mo. This is not the usual academic teachings na ginawa sa yo before. Please correct me- the professors on that particular area has a highest level of expectation on you to deliver the best of the best solutions in quickest possible time. It's grit and grind type of academics. Honestly, I want to take master's but maybe mapapahiya lang ako in a way the professor/s deliver na akala mo ay sila na ang pinakamagaling. mang cito
Currently taking my MPA. Sunday lang ang pasok from 7am to 7pm. Kahit 7 to 7 ang pasok, di naman sinasagad ng prof ang time nila. Nasa 3rd semester na ako. After 5 semester, compre na, then thesis na. Nagsimula ako 2nd semester na. Ang maganda dito hindi rin taga ang tuition kasi state university. Actually taking up your masters degree is like building your foundation for the future. Graduated 2001, and now is 2017. Imagine yung mga panahon na nasayang sakin. Ngayon ko lang naiisip na bakit ngayon lang kung kelan kelangan ko na kasi di ako ma promote pag walang masters degree Quote Link to comment
perfectstranger
hindi mahirap mag masters kung petiks type ang trabaho mo. kaysa magsayang ka ng oras during work, gawin mo mga assignments and papers. Quote Link to comment
Papa Popoy
Sa totoo lang masarap at mas madali magmasters kung gusto mo yung course na kukunin mo...Ikumpara mo nung college, kahit hindi mo gusto yung ibang subjects pero kelangan mong i-take...at kelangan mong ipasa Edited October 27, 2017 by Bricks🍻 Quote Link to comment

Papa Popoy
Personally, mas maganda pa skills training.Depende yan e..let's say you are an IT employee, syempre skills training ang pipiliin mo. What if assistant manager ka, business related course, syempre mba ang pipiliin mo.Personally, i'll choose masters degree over diploma in _________(skills training). In a company perspective, masters degree is always higher than diploma. Edited October 30, 2017 by Bricks🍻 1 Quote Link to comment

PenetrayShawn
if im paying for it, probably not. in some fields people get masters degrees so they can teach. but if the employer will pay for it, i might go for it despite having a service agreement. the employer probably understands the need for a masters degree in the industry Quote Link to comment
ilikecheese
Well take it you want to pursue a career in the academe. justin.challenger
Am planning to take up MBA this incoming schoolyear... Saw this good graduate school in Northern QC... It has an accredited MBA program, so legit and good standards, and they have Saturday evening and Sunday classes... Perfect for those with work until Saturdays, ir with rotating or shifting skeds...
