I think that people have different experiences going abroad and you have to take it like a grain of salt. It's an experience of a lifetime.

Nung bumalik ako, I was able to start my own thing and I experienced better professional growth. Although things moved a lot slower here anyway ok lang. Mas naramdaman ko yun professional fulfillment

Living in the Philippines or living abroad is both a gamble and relies mainly on 2 things. Luck and opportunity. If Im am pretty stable/comfortable living in the Philippines,  I will not gamble it by going abroad w/o and guaranteed opportunity like a job waiting for me. Not every one who leaves the Philippines is a success story. Some make it big, some end much much worse than what they started with. The thing is we rarely hear the sad stories just because very few people survive to tell the story. It not bad to strive for a much better future for you and your family, but always make informed decisions before you start a new journey
