G.L.
Eto kakapanood ko lang kanina.. Dr Who Special -- Waters of Mars(any Dr Who fans out there? ) Dr Who (A Time Lord/Time Traveller) shows up in Mars in 2059, where Earth's very first Colonists where setting up a base on Mars. The Colonists were very surprised to see another Human on Mars aside from them. So they were speculating who he is and where he's from. One girl said "I bet its the Philippines. They're so sneaky, probably built a Rocket right under our noses all this time". :thumbsupsmiley: IMO one of the best and POSITIVE references out there. (Look at practically all the refences here, daming negative.. Porno, snuff films, etc or irrelevant.. Balut, DHs, Mahal kita, etc) Eto at least the implication in 2059 Industrialized na tayo who can (theoretically) build a rocket to Mars.. :thumbsupsmiley: ) Quote Link to comment

A box which serves as a trash bin inside the alien spacecraft was labeled - Basura. Basura is not an exclusively Filipino term. It's actually a Spanish word which a lot of Filipino words are. kanto-terrorist
anyone whose an avid horror/gory movie fanatic will be familiar with Anatomy 2. http://www.contactmusic.com/new/film.nsf/reviews/anatomy2 This is a German horror/thriller but unlike any other, leading lady dito ang Pinay. Some scenes portray Rosie Alvarez (leading lady as a nurse) always been mistaken as either chinese or thai butshe always answered "I am a Filipina"...."Im from the Philippines....". this is probably the only foreign movie where a Filipina wasn't put in a bad light instead she played a very important role as a conservative yet strong type of women the german lead guy falls in love with. I wonder kung bat di masyadong sikat dito sa tin. But it just confirms my resolve that among the foreigners, the Germans have the highest regards for us. There was even a statue of Jose Rizal in Germany. Quote Link to comment
