mukang start na ba ng bull run?

Pansin ko din. May investments ako sa Philequity dumaan si digong, lugmok na lugmok. Pero ngaun nakakabawi na. Not saying related sa pulitiko since madami naman reasons pagdating sa market.

New topic: "The illusion of Port snap"

- As you can see, or know you will have a chance to glance this kind of activity being posted over the web. There are lots of reason why a person do this. Some do this kind of act to boost their ego, some to prove that they have the skills required to make money in the markets (uy!, marunong ako neto makinig ka saken

), some to just lure others that they know what they are doing (even though the reality is they aren't really making money in the markets) and some have other reason that we can never think of.

Just like this for example:

Pay attention to the Portfolio percentage and the port size (total port amount) (to determine the allocation and actual value of the portfolio)

At first glance; Uy! ang galing up 44% on $PLUS. But in reality, if you check the history of the account (in which the idea of what I posted). What is the illusion behind it? Kumita ba?

Sad. Same individual who recommended you guys to buy $cnvrg at 22; cheap na daw kasi. Ngaun magkano nalang current price 9.42? Down ka na sana ng ilang percent if sinunod mo lang basta basta.

What stocks to buy at this current situation to win?

I was asked by many as to what stocks to have. My answer is to tell the stocks what I had already put my money.

CNVRG- we know well that the reason for its decline to a low of 18.20 was due to the selling of Pincus Warburg of around 250M shares more or less at 25 per share. Everybody got scared of that sending Cnvrg lower and lower since then. But it is now going up indicating that the said shares must have been exhausted or sold out. Therefore even if you buy at 22 tomorrow, its closing today is at 21.70, your buying price is far better off than the 25 per share crossed by Pincus to another foreign investor at 25 per share. You must take advantage of this rare chance when a fundamentally sound telco company is trading below the acquisition price of a major foreign investor in CNVRG. In the grander scheme of investing especially in the stock market, the big investors will always win because they have the financial muscle and wherewital to make the stock price go into their favor. The one who bought the 250M shares at 25 will be the captive defender of Cnvrg in the coming days. Anything below 25 at this point is relatively cheap and must be scooped up.

Next are the Marcos stocks like WEB and PRIM and others. I can not convince you with sound fundamentals that these stocks have like CNVRG. However, they posses the meandering speculations as to what businesseses that can be injected into them. These stocks being listed can be easy target by international companies wanting to open up business ventures here without the rigors of undergoing governmental, congressional scrutiny and approval. Their allure is the " what are we in power for" swagger. Stock market is practically speculations. And these stocks will enjoy 6 years of endless speculations while BBM is on the driver's seat. I heard PRIM is on expansion drive already. What about WEB? There can be a lot to be injected in those stock once BBM officially sits.

Lets all make some money

In hindsight, if you followed to buy it at the reco price of web at prim that time. You could have bought it at the top (both stocks).

Here's $web on that date; Same reason, why it is a must for you guys interested to study and learn how the markets move. So that, you can't easily be hype over what every individual tells you to do so.

Ingat lang pipol. The PSEI Index just went down below the support level today.  Technical indicators are weak while fundamentally the economy is reeling from the persistently stubborn inflation we have been experiencing for many months now.  Unless global interest rates begin going down spearheaded by the US Fed and followed by central banks elsewhere around the globe including the BSP, I find it hard to see how the local stock market will be able to regain its former vigor.  Dito sa atin, the inflation issue is caused by supply side problems due to weak local agricultural production resulting in high food prices (a big component of our consumer price index or CPI) since majority of the food (and non food items) we consume is imported from abroad and therefore expensive once supply shocks like weather disturbances, climate change and geopolitical instability (i.e. War in Ukraine, the Middle East, etc.) are taken into account.  Kaya no amount of interest rate hikes by the BSP will solve our inflation problem with the only solution being to increase our own local production with the active support of the Dept of Agriculture although this is largely a medium to long term solution with no quick fixes or instant miracles for those who are expecting overnight resolutions.  Patience and persistence is the key.  I recently had a conversation with a top executive of one of the country's biggest banks and he told me two of the main items they are closely monitoring are the prices of rice and sugar (both of which we import in huge volumes) since malakas tayo kumain ng kain at mahilig tayo sa matatamis na bagay.  Kaya pag sumipa presyo nun dalawa at tumaas na naman ang inflation babagsak ulit ang stock market kasi inflation and high interest rates have a negative effect on the stock market and business in general.

Thanks for buying $Web. I was selling most of my shares to realized gains, and now just hold 1/4 of it. Same as $PRIM.

Hopefully, marami pang humabol. So I can easily dump my remaining shares if needed. :)

(this post is for the newbies just like me and about our local stock market)

Just a stock investor/trader pag may time... Nung pandemic, my investments are all wins Lalo na nung nag-stabilize na ang local and global markets.

There are 2 lessons that really hit me hard Kahit na I'm aware na about it dahil Kahit papaano ay may group Ako na Pina-follow which is the Traders Den sa fb ang dun Ako nagseself study...

a. Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)- maraming nakong stocks na nabili dahil sa hype. Sadly, in just 1 day, bagsak agad ang price. Talo agad.

b. Learn how to cut loss- in connection with item A, alam ko na na kailangan ko ng bumitaw sa stocks na nabili ko dahil downtrend na, pero umasa Ako na magrerecover Yung price hanggang sa napabayaan ko and nasa 30 percent nalang Yung value nung stock ko.

Shout pala sa UPSON. Hehe... Just sharing. Yun lang
