PenetrayShawn
Do you guys think its ok to keep 1M mahigit sa bank na ito? Or mag triple bank na lng? medyo may exposure yata sila during the late 00s recession. to be fair halos lahat yata ng PH banks nagkaroon, ang balita ko na wala ay BPI group for your 2nd/3rd question keep in mind deposit insurance is up to 500,000. i would rather have the 1m spread out across 4 different bank companies Quote Link to comment
Yahiko44
Which bank has the lowest interest rate? Say, 200k payable in 2 years. Any bankers or loan officers around? Quote Link to comment

chessboxin
Foreign banks cannot compete with local banks sa retail banking. Napaka unaccessible. Take it from me. I was once a Citibank depositor but they closed so much branches that the nearest branch to me is sa Greenhills. Ano yun, magddrive ako 45 minutes on a weekday to do my bank s--- lang? Baka nung 80s may appeal kasi napaka unstable ng local banks, but gone were those days. Remember Standard Chartered, GE Bank, Santander? Kung magsasara lang at lilipad, why bother building a relationship with them?

For investment naman maraming iba't ibang options - stocks, fixed income, mf, etc. Quote Link to comment

Quote Link to comment
