pre, ang prob ko lang, hirap balansehin ang maraming players sa isang team. relatively maikli lang ang isang laro. hirap din mabitin kung kulang ka sa minutes sa laro. ang akin lang, baka pwede 6 members per team na lang. thanks

 

I appreciate the concern pareng jopoc. I understand pa din na eventually yung enjoyment ng players ang importante. Kaya nga pinost ko dito para malaman ang reaction ng buong grupo bago tayo mag finalize. Ayaw naman natin ng me alitan or samaan ng loob between the regulars dahil sa basketball. Yung mga ibang Captainball, anu tingin nyo?

I agree with Jopoc.. kasi if captain balls will call the shots on who plays and who sits for awhile, it's relatively easier to shuffle 6 players compared sa 7... kasi kung anim lang hindi naman madedeprive yung players ng playing time na gusto nila.. hindi pa hirap diskartehan dahil madaling magbigayan pag anim...

diskarte lang naman yan sa rotation eh.. mag usap usap na lang kayo ng mga ka team mo.. tutal you have the priority to choose kung sino gusto mong kasama.. magbigay ka na lang kasi.. just call the shots and let your other 6 players do the work for you para hindi ka pa mapagod at mahirapan dumiskarte.. plus lesser turnovers pa hehehehehe peace! :upside:

As with the number of players, ill stay with SIX. Why? Playing time issues. As much as I would like to be competitive (kasi fourth kami last tournament), mahirap talagang i-juggle. Lalabas at lalabas ang hinanakit ng iba as with playing time. Equal opportunities ibigay natin sa players.

 

BOTTOMLINE, to win. Kahit isa man lang.

Re:NT to be fielded

 

The purpose of the tournament is to have FUN while staying competitive. Build camaraderie among us. Tighter bond. Foster good playing relationships, chemistry and cohesion.

 

Nothing against Team NT. Cohesive unit. Knows each player well, picks up spots properly that you'll get lost sa rotation ng depensa. Accurate shooting team. Will extend your defense really well into the arc. Fast runners, sipag bumaba. Good rebounding team. Its them, BUONG-BUO.

 

As for me, when I play NT, it really gets sooo serious. Scramble to the arc, position yourself well down low for rebounds, tap the ball out of their hands. They're tough customers to handle. I get rewarded kapag nanalo (talo pa rin yata kami nung wala silang frontcourt two weeks ago) kasi I was worked out the entire game.

 

The fun comes where, when playing them? Not much. Siguro sa teammates ko na lang kapag nakapag-execute kami properly against them.

 

Tournament-wise, they'll be heavy favorites to win it. Talagang maninibago ako kapag binabaan nila yung game nila sa tournament. They're not them. Their game is way excellent. Who can handle them literally?

 

Insert Mark at point, Taken at TWO (sure you'll play for them come tournament proper), Norman at the wing. And who else excels at FOUR and FIVE that can go mano-a-mano?

 

Do you see yourself settling for second best? Challenging for others but not as much fun to go through the rigors.

 

Compare NT to the Eagles.

We've known the Eagles for quite some time now. Yung iba kasundo na ang Eagles. Atleast lumalabas na ang smiles. ***wag kang kiligin MD at Vincebanned

sana maintindihan mo na kahit papaano, mas gusto din namin na mas makarami ng playing time. hindi naman lahat kasi pare-pareho skills. yung mga magagaling, given na yung playing time. yung needs improvement, like me, medyo gusto rin na makalaro ng matagal. so kung marami ang substitutes, kahit sabihin 2 lang, madyo mahirap din maki-share ng playing time sa marami. kasi chances are, mga tulad ko ang mapapaupo.

 

totoo nga na ok yung last tourney kahit 7 per team, pero meron din mga hindi masaya sa playing time. tsong, ang isang laro, around 30-40mins lang in real time. so talagang bitin kung maraming kahiti sa laro. hirap din kasi na nag-uumpisa ka pa lang pawisan, uupo ka na para pagbigyan ang iba.

 

hindi naman sa ayaw ko sa NT. pero ang akin lang, hindi kasi at all times, the more the merrier. wag ka sana magagalit sa akin. peace tayo. hehehe.

hindi naman ako galit pre.. ang hirap lang kasi sabihin sa kanila na hindi sila welcome maglaro sa tourney at gusto nating tayo tayo lang.. sige nga paano mo ijujustify yun? consistent silang pumupunta at ngahihintay ng games like the rest of us.. matatanggal lang sila kasi isinama sa list yung mga kilala nating regulars kahit na wala sila sa auto sign up.. dont get me wrong i have nothing against including the regulars sa mini tournament lalo na kung kasing tagal na namin nina meynard yung nandun kasi itll be disrespectful not to give them that chance.. pero may compromise pa naman para makalaro lahat and that is to my opinion forming teams with 7 players.. pero opinion ko lang yun..

 

yung sa pag improve ng laro.. well.. i think kaya nga merong weekly games para duon mo ma hone yung skills natin.. syempre mini tournament na ito.. kaya you want to field in yung competitive line up ng team ninyo.. kung sakaling mapaupo ka ng matagal or hindi ka magamit ng ganun kadalas would you take that against your team even if youre winning games? nasan na yung team spirit di ba?
