Defiant
movies talaga ako. Quote Link to comment
glacier_eyes
I prefer reading the book first so I could criticize the movie after watching it. Usually, changes were made in the movies so it's quite disappointing sometimes. Nothing beats the completeness of the book but I must say it's still good to see the visual presentation of it. jetlag143
watching movie, more relaxing Quote Link to comment
Ethel
Both actually, because they offer something different: :thumbsupsmiley: Books offer vivid details. Movies, a concise presentation. But I'm a self-confessed movie addict. Quote Link to comment
mc_darklight
more on movies... because it's hard for me to find an interesting book for me Quote Link to comment
chocnut00
depends on the mood. if lazy then movies Quote Link to comment
tsip608
books, many things or details are imitted in the movie Quote Link to comment
krisnathan24
it really depends on the mood. but i sometimes hate it when a book is made into a movie. They sometimes (or always) lack some detail or they would interpret it in a different way which ruins the story. i think only a few movie adaptations succeeded in bringing justice to the book original. krisnathan24
why do people, when they want to divert themselves from work, divert to something that would be quite stressful in the end? like sudoku. haha. Never got a hang of it. and never will. for me, it will always be music that would keep me sane and relaxed. Quote Link to comment
JohnMayall
You know what, almost all the books available today, fiction that is, are written to a formula and as such hold little appeal to me. I have to recognise that film is more accessible to a mass audience and a lot of the talent in the world which would have gone into writing books before is now going into movies, TV and internet games. So I tend not to read now but object to paying cinema prices : so I watch a lot of TV; Boston Legal is one of my favourites. Quote Link to comment
purrtypwincess
If you have an imagination that can take you places, books are wayyyy better. It can even give you an afterglow for days! And I am talking about the really good ones that are in no way physical (like when I read "The Alchemyst" and "Angels and Demons" for the first time). But then again, kudos to the directors who did their best to make these books a reality. Just as long as both are mentally stimulating. Quote Link to comment
KarmicGirl
depends. too busy lately, movies i guess. Quote Link to comment
Guest takenbyjo
Hmmm ... if I am by myself, I'd prefer to read a book. Pero pag may mga kasama, I'd rather watch a movie. Quote Link to comment
