Dong Manobo
more on movies, pero marami nagsasabi na masmaganda daw ang libro kaysa sa movies. well there's one movie at book na masmaganda ang movie para sa akin kaysa sa book. The mist. Quote Link to comment
oropesa
i have seen only a few book-based movies na nabasa ko rin pati yung libro. some are * a beautiful mind -- i'd read the book bio before i saw the movie. i didn't actually watch the whole movie; masyadong iba yung feel ng book kasi from the movie. i couldn't see in russel crowe the john nash whom i read about. john nash in the book is much mor interesting. * the talented mr. ripley -- i love the movie (and i love matt damon sobrang galing ng director (anthony minghella) kasi he made tom ripley a more complex person than he is in the book. saka i also like that he added the character of cate blanchett..basta lahat ng deviations na ginawa niya from the book, panalo sa akin. * dark water -- i prefer the movie, yung japanese original. sobrang sad ng ending nung movie para sa akin, naiyak nga ako, weh. yung short story, ok lang ang inaabangan kong movie ngayon is "the curious case of benjamin button." i haven't read the short story yet. LickMeDownThere
book for me.. the book can show u all the feelings of the characters unlike sa movie, kapag nasama-sama ang acting ng actor, nawawala ung pinaka-essence ng story.. Quote Link to comment
