This really applies only to higher end service industries that have the resources to deliver anything the customer wants and have customers that are able and willing to pay any price, which bears out in the history of this phrase. If you go to Jollibee and tell them you want them to debone a chickenjoy thigh and put garlic pepper beef sauce on it, they'd tell you they can't do that. If you ask a high end restaurant to substitute the porkchop with a steak and the shrimp with lobster, they'll do it if you flash enough cash. Quote Link to comment
