mastertorero
for now i wanna pass a law that would put to death by beheading those tongressmen who were absent for no valuable reason during the last session. Quote Link to comment
knoll1234
We are already a nation with overflowing laws, it is just the enforcement portion that lags way behind.....I PROPOSE TO MAKE A LAW THAT PROHIBIT NEW LAWS!!!!! Quote Link to comment
getsumei
Just a thought: Do we really need to make more laws? Won't it suffice to review the existing ones and rework them better to accommodate changes since their creation? How about we zoom in a particular field. Let's take for example the country's labor laws. They would quote this and that, without care on how the employer can meet the demands. Hindi ba nila naisip na as the employer, they also need to project the cost they'll need to maintain and function? Quote Link to comment
rockybrawler
Quote Link to comment
Guest eljuego
I'd rather have the Lina law repealed. In my opinion, this law does more harm than good. Quote Link to comment
heatseeker0714
All children should be included in this law, special mention lang mga batang squatter sakin kasi sila pinakamaraming naglalaro sa lansangan na nasasagasaan. Quote Link to comment
rhd231067
Revise the LAW of Supply & Demand. Pwede? Quote Link to comment

jons11
Call me an a-hole if you will but I believe that: Prostitution should be legalized. Corresponding health cards should be required (same as the porn industry abroad) to make sure that prostitutes are tested regularly for diseases. Non-tax paying citizens should NOT be given the right to vote. Uneducated and scum breeding people have had their way long enough. It's time for the hard working citizens to take control of who sits at the throne. Politicians across the board should be given MINIMUM WAGE. This way, public servants are INDEED public servants. This would also help detect corrupt officials as their pay can only support a certain lifestyle. Quote Link to comment
camiar
There should be a law to phase out jeepneys and tricycles out of our metropolis and major cities. The Jeepney Franchise Rationalization law should have the following features: 1.Jeepney operations shall be allowed only within franchises in provincial towns and barangays. They shall not be allowed to operate as a mode of public transport in cities and the metropolis. 2.Jeepney owners should be forced to either join or form a corporation or a cooperative before they can operate their unit for public transport. 3.Provincial town transport franchises shall be awarded only to these corporations or cooperatives, who should have proven capability to manage passenger load scheduling and trip dispatching, and building of jeepney terminals. This should do away with the antiquated barker system whose aim is only to cram hapless passengers into jeepneys before dispatching them. 4.Minimum specification shall be defined in terms of comfort, safety, and reliability of the jeepneys. It should be mandatory to scrap units that are 10 years old and above. The Tricycle Franchise Rationalization law should have similar features except that their operation and franchise should be limited to provincial inter-barangay transport only, and should not operate in towns, which are reserved for jeepney operations. This law would keep tricycles from plying the National Highway. Edited March 6, 2011 by camiar Quote Link to comment
scam
The goverment should abolish the legislative branch for the simple reason that we have too many laws already and that most of it is not even implemented or exercised. Let's learn first to follow the lawbefore crafting more laws. There's no point making more laws when no one or barely a few follow them. Even Ping Lacson does not adhere to the law just like most of them in the Senate & Congress. Quote Link to comment

ranter
This is a good amendment http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/nation/view/20110420-332273/Bill-against-dummies-filed-in-Senate To quote "With the Senate investigation into alleged military corruption all but wrapped up, Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada has filed a bill to prevent public officials from amassing ill-gotten wealth and hiding it through “dummies.” Estrada wants to amend RA 6713—the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees—to include the penalty of dismissal for an official “who places any of his or her assets in the name of a dummy." But the problem with this is that people who would investigate government officials who uses dummies would just be facing bureaucratic wall after wall unless the Freedom of Information Bill is passed...
