highway69
I think each ISP has its own downside, depending on the area.. mine I use smartbro for 2 yrs now wla nman hassle.. My friend/ former college classmate tells me the manager of their Backbone lives near the area (sna till now di cya lumipat ng bahay) kaya lagot tlga sila pg ngkaron ng downtime outside their maintenance window. All wireless internet kahit anong ISP pa yan basta umuulan has bad connection, the rain droplets affects the LOS, adds noise to transmission. Iba pa rin pg wired connection tlga kaso olats tlga service ng PLDT, hope Globe's service team is good though haven't tried it yet. Quote Link to comment

HimuraButosay
worse service is PLDT DSL , nalugi ang internet shop ko dahil sa PLDT DSL , lagi disconnect. imho, for broadband internet, speed costs a LOT OF MONEY ...the faster it gets, the more expensive it becomes ..and yet there is still no assurance that the connection would be stable :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
deepdiverboy
PLDT DSL for home use works just fine for me. If you have an old DSL modem, don't trade it in for the new smaller ones. The newer ones suck, laging disconnect. Yung old model (usually black) is bulkier, but they never disconnected in 3 yrs of using. Quote Link to comment

pektong
mahirap kasi mag rekomenda ng isp dahil pwede dito sa lugar ko ok ang pldt for example pero sa area niyo eh pangit ang pldt. the best na gawin mo is to ask your neighbors kung anong isp nila at dun ka kumuha ng feedback. pero ang masasabi ko lang eh stay away from digitel kasi magiging digihell ang buhay niyo waheheh...
