ConsistentlyInconsistent
Love taught me that no matter how many limits or boundaries you set upon yourself, feelings are not morals, they are simply facts.  Love taught me how to endure more than my person can take. And even thou I want to end the pain, it still lingers and comes back like a bad case of athlete's foot.  Love taught me to accept the frustration that the man-child I loved will never be the ideal partner nor father to my soon to be born daughter.  Love taught me that I can be strong SOMEDAY but not when I'm still in love with the thought of changing him to be a better person for me and for his daughter. Love taught me that no matter how much I give, it will never be enough because I'm not the one for him. Love taught me how to cry silently into my pillow as I wither in pain beside the sleeping sillouette of the man-child I love and has hurt me beyond any imaginable dream or nightmare.  Sigh. Hard to be heartbroken. Quote Link to comment
