Wyld
OT: Pasenya na. What happened to the previous posts? I don't think a lot of them were THAT OT. Thanks mods. Keep up the good work. The thread had gotten past the requisite number of pages. When that happens we archive and make a new one... Rather than make a new one, I merged several medical queries threads in this section that were not being given attention and renamed it The Medical Thread. I hope there was no sarcasm on your part when you said Keep up the good work up there. Quote Link to comment

Those are most likely fasciculations of the eyelid muscles. Nothing to be worried about. It's usually brought about by muscle tiredness or fatigue. Caffeine can cause it to increase in intensity or frequency. Quote Link to comment

manny_nangkal
Hello I snore too and possibly suffer from sleep apnea. I experience one of these or sometimes all of these when i wake up; - i wake up with a dry mouth and throat - sometimes with a headache and lousy feeling akin to a hangover - fatigue and sleepiness throughout the day - with some memory deficiency, poor attention and concentration, and bad mood All of these are signs off lack of sleep. I know that snoring is associated with sleep apnea (obstructive sleep apnea). And If i ignore my these signs, they are added risk factors for developing hypertension and coronary heart disease.I want immediate relief, where can i get them -Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) mask? how much do they cost? thanks! True ba ito? Quote Link to comment
sunking
True ba ito? Yes, a CPAP mask is a counter-snoring measure, as well as obtaining customized pillows, some chemical sprays, and LOSING WEIGHT (this has helped me). Quote Link to comment

grovel
first check your diet. dapat high fiber and increase your fluid intake. When I mean fluid, I mean water and juice. Not coke and beer. Kapag ganyang matigas ang dumi mo nagkakaroon ka ng fissures. You could check by wiping your assh*le with some tissue. If it has blood, it's caused by trauma. If all else fails you would need a prescription. You could get fibrosine it's over the counter naman. Quote Link to comment

Better seek consult first, for proper rectal exam, and sigmoidoscopy if needed. Quote Link to comment

It is due to a tear in your anal muscles (we call it sphincter). If it is acute, meaning lately lang nangyari, it usually resolves. However, there are patients who had these symptoms chronically that it becomes a vicious cycle. Whenever you defecate, there will be pain, the tendency of your anal sphincters is to contract. When the sphincter contracts, the tear widens and more pain will follow. Kalimitan sa mga patients with anal fissure ay natatakot na mag-poop dahil expected na nila na may pain. Some of them even avoid defecating which worsens the situation. If ever conservative treatment fails, we do surgery by cutting a portion of your anal sphincters para mag-relax. Hemmorhoids can also cause pain on defecation but not the way you described it. Do keep me updated. Quote Link to comment
