Puro lang differential diagnosis mga doctor, walang ma tukoy na final diganosis...ito na ba ngayun ang mga doctor?

i do have a friend awhile ago i visited her she's 7 months pregnant, she asked me if bwal b mag do pag preggy i said no (yun ang alm ko e)then she told me nung 3 months ago nung nag do sila ng bf nya (who left her) after the deed parang yung water-bag nya nbutas? kc mdmi water lumabas?masama daw b yun?nde ko msagot kc di ko alm after all im just an rt....then she also noticed n maliit yung tyan nya compared nung una sya mag buntis???

Sex during pregnancy is alright as long as the patient does not have any risk factors for premature labor or placenta previa to name a few. If she felt something wrong 3 months ago then she should've immediately visited an obstetrician. She should have experienced fever and pelvic pain if that were premature rupture of membranes. Obstetricians have a way of determining if the fetus is small for gestational age that means a small tiyan based on perception doesn't necessarily mean immediately growth retardation.

I'm quite sure all your questions can be answered by a routine prenatal check up by an obstetrician. Urge your friend to visit one soon.

Hemmorhoids, anal fissures, rectal polyps, or cancer are the usual culprits of rectal bleeding.

Besides during sex, does it bleed pag nag nunumber 2 ka sa banyo? Is it painful? Visit a gastroenterologist. If there would be any indication he might likely do a rectal exam and if needed do a proctosigmoidoscopy if he cant find any problem from the outside.

 

Hemmorhoids can present with painful or painless bleeding. Anal fissures can present with tearing pain with passage of bowel movements. Polyps can be assymptomatic to intermittent bleeding. Rectal cancer will also present with bleeding but usually have other symptoms such weight loss, anemia, weakness, and abdominal pain.

I understand your concerns about what happened to your mother during her dialysis.

 

However, this is not the appropriate venue to get an expert opinion about this particular matter, especially when names and specialties are not disclosed. If you are intent on filing a legal case regarding this incident, then better get the facts straight, document what needs to be documented and talk with the appropriate specialty.

 

We may give hundreds of hypothesis about what happened but we were not there when the incident happened, we don't know your mother's actual medical history and we don't know the circumstances regarding this particular event.

 

Sometimes the available data tells us the possibilities about a particular clinical case kaya minsan talagang puro differential diagnosis kaming mga duktor. In some instances, we can only have a working impression and go with the most probable diagnosis. Sometimes we need additional laboratory exams and imaging procedures to confirm our diagnosis. In unfortunate instances, only an autopsy would be able to tell us what actually happened.

 

Actually, seizures are not uncommon in patients undergoing dialysis, especially when a patient is in a uremic state. The fact that a patient had to undergo dialysis because of a chronic kidney disease predisposes him to several conditions, kaya marami talagang possibilities. If you really want to prove that a clot caused the seizure, then that may require your mother to undergo additional examinations and procedures on top of her regular dialysis.

I underwent proctosigmoidoscopy last october 2009. sabi ng doc, may anal fissures daw po. kumuha sya ng sample for biopsy at nakita sa result na hindi naman cancerous. no further medication was recommended kaya nandito ako, nagdurugo ang puwit ko.

A urologist is a surgeon therefore specializes more on surgical cases of the genito urinary tract but they do have knowledge about the medical side such as STD.

 

You're problem is medical in nature not surgical. That's why I choose the infectious disease specialist. It's really up to you since I know both can help you with your problem. There is no such thing as a 'mild' tulo by the way.

@ scalpelexpert...this is not the place or venue to air your grievances of what happened to your mother. specifically because, WE WERE NOT THERE! its easy to quarterback after the game. we do not have any data to say what actually happened. and yes, the practice of medicine is sometimes imprecise, thats why its called PRACTICE. the older and more experience you get, the better you get.

 

also, as ma'am Mwah pointed out, your mother is already undergoing dialysis. this means her kidney, which helps gets rid of toxins in the first place, is not around to help her. it also means she has a chronic condiiton, i.e. Diabetes. many of these conditions also have neurological symptoms when it has been in a chronic state.

 

as sir rcko21 has also pointed out, clotted blood in the dialysis machine does not equate with causing a stroke. a patient usually has difficulty of breathing as the clot almost always affect the lungs and not the brain.

 

if you feel that there has been a disservice, get your mother's records and lab files and seek a professional opinion.

Try looking for a family medicine doctor. This guys go for holistic approach in patient care focusing on primary prevention of illneses. Check out the private clinics of any reputable hospital. Ang nagpapamahal ng executive check up are the laboratory work ups. So as long as the doctor doesn't tell you that you need expensive workups such as CT Scan/MRI/PET you wont be charged an executive price.

There are OB-Gyne doctors specializing in fertility. These doctors also have knowledge regarding male fertility since its a couple thing. Same as with my post above, you can find them at private clinics at reputable hospitals. I can refer you to one if you like.

first and most important of all don't lick your lips, use lip balm or petroleum jelly (to moisten your lips especially the corner) as often as needed maybe 5 or more times a day.

 

Wait for the crack to heal completely and minimize opening your mouth (if you can) you can use povidone iodine mouthwash to paint the crack (5 x a day)

 

if after a week you don't see any improvement please see your ENT-HNS doctor for consult.
