Nung pina-check up nmin sya..sbi ng Pedia, medjo Dikit daw yung sa ilalim(something)ng dila nya. hmm.. almost 2 months ago na yon. Kaya tinutukan namin syang mg-salita. Pero..Until now wla parin sha maciadong improvement sa speech nya. Ano kaya tlga ang reason bakit ganun. Quote Link to comment

mwah
mga bro, ask ko lang if pano gamitin ang pills contraceptive . i and my gf had sex nung madaling araw, and bumili ako ng pills pero sabi sa papel nung pills, kelangan mo inumin yun pag malapit na period ng girl.. im confused.. pwede bang inumin na ng gf ko yung pills? Contraceptive pills are usually taken on the day 1 of menstruation although some brands can be taken between days 3 to 5 of the period. However, there are specific doses for particular brands if you're going to use it for emergency contraception. And please think about using pills for emergency contraception because there are certain side effects that some women may not be able to tolerate. Hello gud am guys, may I ask about myoma in cervix? I am not in a surgical field but the presence of a mass (myoma) and pain is alarming. Please do not wait until she would require emergency OR. my neice is 1yr and 7months old. When you said na wala naman ibang problems sa kanya, I'll just assume na okay ang motor function nya and everything else. By this time kasi medyo marunong na sya mag point sa objects and dapat sana kaya na nya yung mga "ma", "pa", etc. Children vary greatly in their speech development but I would be concerned if she reaches two years old and wala pa ring syang salita na alam. I would agree with otitismedia to have to niece checked by an ENT for hearing evaluation. Edited July 26, 2008 by mwah Quote Link to comment

Hello just want to input my opinion regarding the myoma uteri, the plan for surgery for myoma will really depend on the location or kind of myoma and the reproductive status of the patient..since you didnt include "who" had the myoma.. For your info sir..there are 3 layers of the uterus..the myoma can grow on any of these layers...for instance a myoma growing on the outer layer possibly can impinge certain structures in the pelvic cavity that may cause specific problems, same with myoma in the middle layer...at times the myoma may also grow in the inner layer sticking out on the endometrium or the lining of the uterus..in these cases there may be bleeding more often than not...and depending on the gravity of the symptoms, the gynecologist may offer you some treatment options basing on her judgement and ask her about the pros and cons... im not an ob gyne hope i helped a bit Quote Link to comment

Quote Link to comment

mwah
^^^I think it's better to refer the child to a developmental pediatrician after ENT evaluation and when he reaches the age of two with the same speech problems. So far, the kid is at par with the rest of the developmental milestones. Just my two cents' worth. Quote Link to comment

Super likot naman sya and healthy. maybe better nga na ma-checked din ng ENT. My best bet is there is nothing wrong with your niece. The fact that she can verbally communicate and have good regard to her surroundings is a manifestation of intelligence. Of course a trip to a developmental pediatrician wont hurt, only your pockets will. As to the tongue tie, does she have feeding difficultes? Does she have difficulty in mobilizing her tongue, sticking her tongue out?. If not, surgical intervention will not offer any significant benefit. Her inability to speak 2 syllable words is still part of a developmental process. It is not related to tongue tie or ankyloglosssia which is congenital. Tongue tie, if present, will not hinder the desire of the child to speak. Only the quality of phonation or voice is afffected by this condition. Usually letters n, t, d and l are affected. I know how eager you are for her to speak up. But this eagerness might turn out to be a frustration which might be projected and affect the rearing of the child. Easy lang. My best advise is to let whoever is handling her speak to her most of the time so as to stimulate a social conversation. Dito may benefit ang may madaldal na yaya. Do not let her be glued to the TV as it is a passive exercise and does not incite a communicative response from the child. My two cents worth, Doc Easy. Quote Link to comment

gift_of_game
PMd you. please see your friendly neighborhood physician ASAP, he or she will be the one to give you the proper meds.if you're from Pasay, you're in luck because they as far as I know, the city health unit has got that covered too. as a reminder for everyone: 1) if something's bothering you a great deal---whatever it may be---please don't think twice about seeing your doctors. we can dole out as much advice as you could ever want but ultimately, nothing beats an actual consult. and, 2) if you can't BEHAVE, please, please, please...try to be SAFE. arnoldtan
Arnold, It could be a condition we call Sciatica wherein the nerves supplying the sciatic nerve are compressed at the root in the spine. It is also quite often seen with patients with bulky wallets at the back pocket. The wallet sometimes compress the nerve at the buttocks area causing pain or sensory deficits. The symptoms are relieved by removing the wallet or shortly after standing, when the pressure over the nerve has been removed. I suggest you consult with any of the following: an orthopedic surgeon, a rehab sprecialist or a neurologist. This condition falls in any of theise specialties. Keep us posted for updates. Doc Easy hi doc, medyo ok na ako dito, ang ginawa ko i use eficascent oil twice a day and then massage ko yung masakit na part, every day yun, tapos i always walk at the morning, parang exercise, umiinom din ako nang advil (ibupppren, sorry for the wrogn spelling) 3x a day, ngayon medyo ok na siya, hindi na siya katulad nang dati na masakit talaga, lalo kapag matagal akong nakaupo.....kaya sa inyo at sa iyo doc easy....thank you very much Quote Link to comment
