meltwithyou
IMO JMM won the fight. Sorry Pacman fans.. Pacman should stay in lightweight and unify the belts, if he can. I Agree!!! Unify the belt! Quote Link to comment
Mike_Lowrey21
May mas maganda pa bang record diyan? Biased yung maramihang kolum niya pero eto mukhang me punto http://www.philstar.com/archives.php?aid=2...4191&type=2 Why Pacquiao won’t fight CampbellTHE GAME OF MY LIFE By Bill Velasco Saturday, July 5, 2008 ...The consensus is that Campbell will outbox Pacquiao and beat him on points. They say Pacquiao will not be able to impose himself on Campbell, who is sturdy and supposedly good at defending himself against heavy hitters. It will therefore not be an exciting fight for Filipino fight fans. And it may be an unwarranted risk for Arum, who would want more than anything else to protect his cash cow. Sports&a...aid=20080705174 Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather Jr., in his first post-retirement interview, threw punches at HBO and its commentators for being biased against black fighters like him, even dragging Pacquiao in. “Or they go crazy over Manny Pacquiao. But I’m a black fighter. Is it racial? Absolutely. They praise white fighters; they praise Hispanic fighters, whatever. But black fighters, they never praise,” said Mayweather. The American champion, who retired undefeated in 39 pro fights, said no one comes close to him as the pound-for-pound champion, a label that presently and arguably belongs to Pacquiao. “I’m so far ahead of those other bums, I couldn’t even tell you,” said Mayweather. wizard23
nanalo si JMM kay pac-man? kelan? wehehe. obviously pacman is not comfortable at 130lbs. kasi hirap sya at ginutom sya kaya di sya comfortable. unlike sa 135lbs, tamang tama. he's stronger and quicker. i think if JMM follows MP at 135lbs, i dont' think it will be a close fight this time. i think JMM is intent on following MP at lightweight just to vindicate himself. unfortunately, he's not in Arum's radar anymore. the goal is get closer to a Hatton-Pacquiao fight. uaeboy25
to yung magandang post na nabasa ko. pacman-jmm1 is draw although all of us knew pacman must win that time its all because of one judge who made a mistakes. pacman-jmm2, pacman win that fight with a narrow split decisio. thats not an opinion. its the reality that bites the ego of jmm fans. definitely based sa records no need for pacman-jmm3. pacman is way much better compare to jmm. in reality boxing worlds today are not dominated by black as the same as 70's. kelangan mgaresearch si mayweather. kilala ang puti kasi dominated ng former soviet block ang heavyweigt. habang ang laban ng mga magagaang na boksingero is dominated ng asian at latin americans. sa middleweight nagsimula narin ang white invasion. like si pavlik ang chmp ngayon na tinalo nya si j. taylor.sorrykay mayweather kasi mas gusto pa nya mag rap kesa magboxing. hindi tulad ng ginagawa ni delahoya. ginigive up nya ang no. 1 p4p kaya napunta kay pacman. ngayon umiiyak sya. George Bush
This Mike Marley, predicted that diaz would fall on the 9th round, his prefight analysis of diaz vs pacman is 80% accurate, here is his analysis on pacman vs valero. Frankly Speaking And With Relish, Edwin Valero Will Be Slaughtered By Peaking Manny Pacquiao!Michael Marley 7/4/2008 There are story lines aplenty. The prefight “B” roll video will be awesome with Edwin Valero throwing roundhouse bombs and various tuk-tuk drivers dropping to the canvas. The Top Rank publicity machine will have so much grist for the mill it will only occasionally have to lean on the “puncher’s chance” angle. But, on this July 4th when we hail America’s “bombs bursting in mid-air,.” let’s put the hot dogs aside for a moment and “frankly” state “with relish,” that the Nov. 8 Manny Pacquiao-Valero WBC lightweight title bout could be more of a gross mismatch than was Pacman’s trouncing of David Diaz. I’ve seen Valero fight in person. He is a charming guy who talks of having $25 million of talent in his loaded fists and who speaks of his skills with a noticeable twinkle in his eye. He’s a competent world champion. But his opposition has been woeful. But what really makes Pacquiao-Valero a one-sided fight is that, no matter what his trainer Kenny Adams does, I doubt he can change Valero’s natural swing. And Valero, while packing dynamite in both fights, swings like a rusty gate. With Pacman’s defense sharpened to the utmost by his Coach Freddie Roach, it’s hard to fathom how Valero will land any punches let alone a nuclear blast which could render Megamanny senseless. Besides that, Valero was not gifted with an iron jaw. Bob Arum says this fight is inevitable. So we can all lay back and let it unfold. But the result will be the same as David Diaz’s game but overmatched effort. The bottom line will be Pacquiao by KO. Valero produces hurricane force winds…and that’s when he misses with shots which he does quite often. Pacman’s radar is working fine and his feet are more nimble than ever before. Maybe they can find the old wrestler, Sgt. Slaughter and make his the celebrity referee. Because Pacquiao-Valero is indeed that, a slaughter. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, lol. fry_saging
We're not talking of "amateur" boxing here bro. Guess you're in the wrong thread. Believe me man. I know the difference between amatuer and professional boxing. I have been watching boxing so long to know that there are no clear cut rules in judging a match. A judge may see it that way the other may not. Would you go with power or would you go with skills.... There are many things to consider specially in a close match. Quote Link to comment
the_joker
