Naging pure job nalang sa kanya ang boxing at hindi na ito to add something to his great boxing career. Manny is too pre-occupied with his several careers (eg politician, involved in professional basketball, at ung bago eh pasimuno ng new basketball leage MAHARLIKA) and transactions in life kaya parang money-making scheme nalang nya ang boxing kaya play safe lang sya sa bawat laban. mahirap na, baka masapol ng matindi sa ulo eh mapaaga ng tapos ang boxing career. He has nothing to prove after that 8 division titles and spectacular fights. Pero mukhang hindi namanage ni Manny ang kanyang finances kaya eager pa rin syang lumaban. He's WAY PAST his late 2000s peak, and it does NOT help he has so many distractions outside the ring - politics, business, occasional showbiz appearances, etc! Plus his kids need him to be strong and healthy, and cannot afford him following the route of Muhammad Ali in terms of being sick with Parkinson's or some other ailment caused by years of blows to the head in the ring!
