fanboii3000
Mas maganda kung meron track/running field. Then do Sprinting. Do your warm ups, stretching then jog for a few minutes. Then Go full blast 30 seconds sprinting then 90 seconds rest/jogg, repeat up to 8 times. Do this at least twice a week. Quote Link to comment

Ex. faster pace from this block to the end of the next 2 blocks, then return to easy walking then repeat to the faster pace once recovered. A simplified walking version of "fartlek" or speed play. Agreed. Just walking up to 10k steps a day, for anyone that's sedentary/not walking that much currently, will make a huge impact on one's cardio & aerobic capacity. Quote Link to comment
Nidaime
Start small to build endurance then keep on increasing until you meet your desired goals then decide from there if you want to do more. Also, be consistent. Quote Link to comment

Also, be consistent. Agreed. Pati pala sa cardio, kailangan mag progressive overload. The primary metric regardless of cardio activity is duration combined with a target heart rate. Di ka dapat nanghihingal, but target a pace where you can't talk in full sentences easily. Siguradong mabagal ka gumalaw sa umpisa, but 5 minutes is 5 minutes. Over time, the longer you can keep your HR up, the faster you will naturally get. And the calories will burn off in proportion to that duration. Quote Link to comment

SolidSnake25
I'm 35 year old. Gave up sports as I don't have time already napapagiwanan ko yung iba kong gustong gawin. NGayon alam ko kulang ako sa cardio. Ano yung pinaka basic na pwedeng gawin na cardio bukod sa walking and running? Pass sa sports kasi I believe kailangan magka cardio na muna ako bago ako mag sports ulit (basketball) Bike to work ako dati pero for some reason I feel it was not effective. Quote Link to comment
