Rough Ruckus
Walk 10-14k steps per day, while picking up the pace for some distance intervals. Ex. faster pace from this block to the end of the next 2 blocks, then return to easy walking then repeat to the faster pace once recovered. A simplified walking version of "fartlek" or speed play. DB10
I follow the 10-10 rule. Either 10k steps of walking or 10 km of cycling every day. Quote Link to comment
Mche
I always found cardio boring so I would skip it and go for weights instead. However as the years went by I learned the need to dedicate time for it. Maybe 2-3x a week of cardio. If short on time, I would do high intensity interval training Quote Link to comment
Cabahit
the fastest way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is your best bet. HIIT involves alternating between short bursts of intense activity and periods of rest, and it's been shown to be more effective than traditional cardio methods at improving cardio fitness. For example, you could alternate between sprinting and walking or running for 30 seconds and then walking for a minute. Repeat this for 20-30 minutes, 3-5 times per week, and you'll see an improvement. Quote Link to comment
neilgayuman
Do HIIT. It's incredibly punishing, but if you can keep at it consistently, it'll build your cardio resistance fast. Quote Link to comment
