Walk 10-14k steps per day, while picking up the pace for some distance intervals. Ex. faster pace from this block to the end of the next 2 blocks, then return to easy walking then repeat to the faster pace once recovered. A simplified walking version of "fartlek" or speed play.

I always found cardio boring so I would skip it and go for weights instead. However as the years went by I learned the need to dedicate time for it. Maybe 2-3x a week of cardio. If short on time, I would do high intensity interval training
