theVandal
hi their... maybe someone can help me. don't know if this is the right place to ask question.. The Horn of my Honda civic sr manual 2002 model has just bugged down a while ago.. A quick check at the nearest HOnda civic service center shows that a cable rail has malfunction... They charge me 10000 pesos for a replacement.. Very expensive... Can someone show me a store that sells cheaper cable rails... You know service centers charge exorbitant amounts even for minor replacements.. Any leads would be of great help.. Much better if someone can show me an online store... hello, i know someboy who can be trusted to repair your car at your own garage oem specs , and of course cheaper than casa cost, pls. gve me pm if interested Quote Link to comment
smooth69
puro type R na ang pumalit sa SIR which is too expensive tapos wala pa dito, pinaka malapit na ata is ung k20 na limited edition dati. alam ko kasi gumawa sila ng SIR nila kasi overstock sila ng b16 engine nung time na un. ive been waiting for any news regarding a new SIR for a couple of years... it was formally introduced in 99'... after 11 years la bang plan ang honda maglabas SIR version ng current civic? hope anyone here can give an update..tnx Quote Link to comment

Back In Black
With newer Honda models ( circa 2000 onwards ): if you use fully synthetic - every 10,000 kilometers under "normal" operating conditions but if regular mineral oil- ever 5,000 kilometers Under "abnormal" conditions e.g. heavy loads, dusty conditions, mountain driving then change interval is shorter. Save the environment. Dispose used oil properly. Quote Link to comment

zaku II
Everything in Honda is really great like sleek design and fuel consumption. I like driving the 1996 Civic Vti with the 5 speed manual transmission and the 2007 Civic Vtis with automatic transmission. The new concept 2012 NSX will come in FR where the engine will be placed in front, though a little disappointed coz it is known for an MR engine and the aesthetic design. I hope the rumors of the new concept 2012 Honda S3000 will be revealed! I cant wait for this one, it has a 3.0 liter V6 around 300 HP there are some pics at yahoo just type Honda S3000. I have seen a lot of modified and stock S2000 here in the Phil, a second hand cost around P1.1M Edited March 15, 2011 by zaku II Quote Link to comment
greengervic
i've been using mobil 1 fully synthetic oil, and i change oil yearly on my civic, it's nice to change oil every 5k if ur using the mineral type which is normal Quote Link to comment

It's actually 10k or 6 months which ever comes first as far as the PMS goes for late Honda models. I have 2008 Civic 1.8S MT and the mileage of my car is low because I only use if for city driving. However, I still follow the PMS schedule. Di ko na pinapa-abot ng 10K. Everytime it reaches 6 months, I go to the CASA for the PMS. Edited March 21, 2011 by Immortal666 Quote Link to comment
