notta101
my oldest recollection of me reading are thoughts of reading comic strips in old liwayway magazine, hehehe, and yung mga istorya ni kenkoy, sana may maglabas ng book version nung kenkoy series, tingin ko bebenta yun lalo na sa mga ka-age ko. then, we got hooked to reader's digest and the illustrated bible, then sherlock holmes and hardy boys and school textbooks like florante at laura by balagtas and noli me tangere and el filibusterismo. rizal is truly a genius! Switlass
I started with the Fairytales Series - then later on the Sweet Valley Series. I grew up with the Wakefield twins - kids, middleschool, high. I stopped at that and didnt bother with Uni though  There was also Nancy Drew and Perry Mason.  I still read Fairy Tales Quote Link to comment
s3cr3tiv3
I read Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, and the Bobbsey Twins a lot when I was six or seven. Of course, before that it was the Brothers Grimm and a lot of other fairy tales. I think no one skipped the fairy tale stage during our childhood years. Also loved reading the Two Minute Mysteries series and Enid Blyton's Five Find-Outers and Dog (if I got the title right) Quote Link to comment
