rcko21
My left testicle seems to be rather painful (but bearable). Is it possible to have epididymitis that is caused by gonorrhea even without a discharge?Or, should I have a discharge for it to be caused by gonorrhea? I have no pain during urination.Thanks.Painful but bearable (subacute) testicular can have the ff. differentialsinguinal hernia, appendicial torsion, varicocele, and epididymitisepididymitis is usually caused by c. trachomatis and presents with testicular pain and pain during urination Better have yourself worked up by an infectious disease specialist. It can still be an STD even without discharge Quote Link to comment

rcko21
pwede po ba magka std from receiving a bj or DATY? In order for a person to become infected with HIV, three things must happen: 1. You must be exposed to pre-cum, semen, vaginal secretions, blood or breast milk, and 2. The virus must get directly into your bloodstream through some fresh cut, open sore, abrasion, etc., or through sexual contact and 3. Transmission must go directly from one person to the other very quickly . . . the virus does not survive more than a few minutes outside the body. So kung may singaw tapos na BJ there will be a big increase in risk to acquire HIV Quote Link to comment

One of the med for gonorr is ceftriaxone intramuscular injection. There are other alternatives but I recommend that you visit an infectious medicine specialist to properly diagnose and treat your problem. Quote Link to comment

rcko21
As much as I want to give you alternatives, I can't offer them to you since we haven't fully diagnosed you yet. We can't also prescribe online. Self-medication is always a no no if you're not a health professional to prevent the occurrences of antibiotic resistance. Huwag ka na mahiya and approach a infectious medicine specialist. They're there to treat you not to judge you. P.S. Nakakabwisit nga na I see amoxicillin left and right in sari sari stores. Quote Link to comment

rcko21
There is what we call reactive arthritis. This occurs after a preceding infection such as C. trachomatis. Patient usually present with arthritis often affecting the lower extremities but sometimes it also present with pelvic pain, oral ulcers, and conjunctivitis.Bactrim 500 is not the treatment of choice for gonnorhea and you might also have been infected by c. trachomatis as well. Go to a specialist and tell him your symptoms and previous history STD. What you are feeling now might not even be reactive arthritis at all. Quote Link to comment

Yes, there are some STDs that could manifest in other parts of the body, but it rarely involves the gastrointestinal system. Next, your abdominal may be totally unrelated to your earlier complaint. Yung pananakit ng tyan mo, maaring iba talaga ang sanhi o dahilan. maybe to those MTCers na may alam na CLINICS for STD so as for those who need to have a check-up can go to the professionals. please indicate na lang siguro the address. If you think that you have symptoms of STD, you can seek consult even at a mall clinic if it's convenient for you. A well-trained and qualified general practitioner or family physician should be able to address your complaints and rest assured that most medical doctors conduct their consultations with utmost professionalism and confidentiality. Some may find it more comfortable to consult a Urologist or Infectious Disease Specialist. As a patient, it is your right to be informed of your diagnosis and be involved in the treatment process. Don't be afraid to ask your attending MDs regarding your condition and its management. Quote Link to comment

Ah.. ok. Well, does this "bukol" increase in size during exercise or coughing? You would be more confident getting a diagnosis if you approach a urologist. The urologist needs to physically examine your scrotum to find out whats wrong. Better go to one ASAP. Quote Link to comment
