As for me (HSV) yung part na di covered ng condom dun ko na contract. Started with some itching and tingling sensation eventually nag ka pimple like lesions na naging ulcerations tapos burning sensation. Hopefully di ganto sayo.

Sana may nakausap ako ganto before. 
Everything is a risk even if may protection ka, even if sinasabi nila na regularly may check up and tests ang thera (which was being stated ng nakuha ko na thera), even if you think you are healthy and physically fit.

pero ayun nga at the end of the day the decision is on the individual.

After almost 2 weeks since nag start yung HSV symptoms ko. Ngayon palang nagiging mas okay yung feeling. Still meron paring tingling, konting burn and itching. Pero god damn… nakakaiyak yung peak ng symptoms. Basically, yung feeling pag may singaw ka sa bibig pero all around the shaft papuntang balls.

Wala naman lesions sa akin sa shaft, pero itching and tingling sensation sa scrotum and sa daluyan ng ihi (urethra) lang. May feeling din na parang may lalabas sa tip, pero pag piniga ko, wala naman. Walang discharge actually. Naalala ko parang ganito lagi feeling ko after using condoms. Minsan sa sobrang praning, nagpapatest ako, negative naman ako sa common stds and HIV/Syphilis. Si misis din walang discharge, or any unusual reactions sa kanya.

Nagtataka lang ako bakit ganun reaction ng penis ko sa latex material or lube (na nasa condom) na feeling ko parang may std ako.haha Nakakapraning minsan.

Always wear condom. Kahit sa bj, mag condom. Gone are the days na kahit budget meal (theras sa cubao sauna) lang wala ka makukuhang sakit through bbbj. Ngayon kasi scary na.

Echoing what roxascity already said.. always wear a condom..

Try to reduce kissing and don't perform oral sex on them if you can avoid it.

Try to watchout for anything unusual on their genitals like possible skin issues..

Get tested after every window period or set a recurring test schedule if you're very active like I was.

Learn about prep and pep both in antiretroviral and antibiotic.

With all that said.. these are all simply risk reduction practices, it won't keep you 100% safe.. so make the best decision for yourself.

I'm not advocating that you stop.. that would be hypocritical.. just enjoy while trying to stay safe.

just FYI lang. yung herpes as far as I know mas accurate padin sana yung swab test mismo during active lesions ng outbreak. 

The condom can just protect you kung hanggang saan lang macocover. Just what happened to me. Yung lesions na nag develop sa HSV wala sa mismong length ng penis. Andun sa base ng shaft paikot at pababa papuntang scrotum true enough kung ano yung di nacover ng condom.
