Anyone planning to brave the crowds in Binondo on Monday? I'm considering doing a walkabout but it's still in the idle thoughts stage. A friend's inviting me to eat at the Estero kasi. Medyo mahirap nga lang umuwi from the area once dusk sets in.

Yeah, medyo weird nga kasi inconsistent yung quality ng food per branch. Some branches have awful food, some naman are good. Labo. If you could give the Greenbelt one a chance, you might like it.

I try to avoid anything packaged in Styrofoam whenever possible. It's useless trash, for one thing, and it's really bad for our bodies, for another.

As for Chicken Charlie, a friend of mine brought some to one of our Christmas parties last December. It's nice and flavorful, but I still prefer BonChon. Having said that, BonChon's flavor is a little inconsistent across the franchise, so I would recommend the original branch in Greenbelt if you want to get your chicken fix. It's the best of the three branches I've tried so far.

What an amazing collection of images! Wish I had seen this when I was taking my history class, it would have been a big help. Sir Hitman, where did you get such clear photos of turn of the century Manila? They look as crisp as if they were taken yesterday!

Agree with oneSHOTwonder, Oarhouse is a pretty interesting place to hang out. Good food and good conversation can be had if you introduce yourself to the patrons. Wifi is also available. It can get pretty rowdy after a tough news day as the photogs blow off steam, though.
