    A Loving Kuya’s Unsent Letter to Bunso

     

    Dear Bunso,

     

     

    Hapi 18th Birthday. Dalaga ka na. As promised, lisensiyado ka nang kumerengkeng sa mga boys na umaaligid – aligid sa ’yo. Though kahit naman nasabi ko sa ‘yo ‘yun, baka makasapak pa rin ako ng kung sinumang kumag na mambobola sa ‘yo. Deep down in the heart of every kuya, a bunso will always be bunso forever.

    Ambilis ng panahon. You’ve now grown into a beautiful lady. Dati ’butt of jokes’ ka lang sa usapang magkakapatid dahil ikaw lang ang maitim. Sige na nga, morena. Sabi ni Mommy, kung meron mang magkakagusto sa ’yo, e tiyak foreigner ’yun na mahilig sa iguana at exotic foods.

     

    Nami-miss ko nga minsan ’yung mga kakengkoyan mo. ’Yung mga expressions mong ’ngek!’, ‘toink’ saka ‘hala naman kasi’, mga nagpapangiti sa ‘kin pag naaalala ko. Naka-save din lahat ng ’lab yu’ saka ’ingat’ na text messages mo kahit paulit-ulit mo lang fino-forward. Lam ko namang nagpapadagdag ka lang ng allowance, style mo bulok, mana ka nga sa ‘kin.

     

    Biro lang. I know you’re sincere. Promise ko sa ‘yo, I’ll do everything para mapagtapos ka. Kahit magtrabaho ako bilang pornstar, gagawin ko ’yun para sa ’yo. Kahit wala na si Papa, you never complained how hard life have become. I’m sorry if sometimes I mess up as a father figure to you. Pag nagpapaalam ka for an overnight in your classmate’s house, di ko alam kung ano ang criteria ko para payagan ka. Kung minsan, binabase ko na lang sa alignment ng bituin sa kalawakan o toss coin na lang para madali. Pers taym ko ‘to bilang head of the family. I know you understand.

    First year nursing ka na. Di ko alam bakit ‘yon e takot ka naman sa dugo. Pero sana di mo nakuha ’yung idea na mag-nursing dahil dun sa mga porn mags ko na may mga babaeng nakasuot ng maiikling damit pang nars. You don’t have to pressure your self in your academics too. Si kuya mo e talagang born achiever, walang extra effort [nakow, nagyabang na naman]. Kahit lasing na pumapasok sa klase, kayang mag-recite kahit nakapikit.

     

    Heto ako wasted over sa puslit na alak with some close prens sa malungkot na bayan ng mga manyak na Middle Easterners. Nagde-daydream pa din kahit hating gabi na. I’m here gazing over the stars and chasing dreams. Nami-miss ko na kayong mga kapatid ko saka si Mommy. Isang buwang sahod ko ’yang pinadala ko pam-blow out mo. I-treat mo lahat ng classmates mo or i-rent mo ang buong resort para walang manyak na makapasok. You only get one debut, make it memorable. Don’t worry about me, mangungutang na lang ako kay BebeKo ng pamasahe papasok sa opis. Take care, kuya labs you always.

    Cotto is tough alright, but Mayweather is really the ultimate skilled ring 'performer.' But sana seryosohin naman niya si Cotto, I believe 'though that Manny can beat the Puerto Rican kahit 80% lang ang kanyang focus.

     

    But on Mayweather it's another story...

     

    Both have good points, when looking at their common foes, again both would have differing opinions, Pacquiao has remained active and beat De La Hoya and Hatton in more impressive fashion than Mayweather, who would argue that he beat Marquez in more impressive fashion than Pacquiao, beat Hatton when he was undefeated whilst fighting De La Hoya at a weight he has never fought at.

     

    Pacquiao may have beat a faded Hatton and a weight drained De La Hoya, but Mayweather beat Marquez with a distinct weight advantage in a division that he has never fought at.

     

    These are just a few of the many arguments that arise when these two great fighters are mentioned in the same breath. As I mentioned both have good points, but which has the greatest argument to claim the title as the world’s best. Fight fans which is it, Pacman or Pretty Boy?

     

    Is the fact that Mayweather has returned and beat the man who gave Pacquiao so much trouble enough, or must he first beat Pacquiao to regain his title as boxing’s best?

     

    The question is a difficult one to answer and will lead to many disagreements between boxing fans but what will be agreed is that to put the issue to bed Mayweather and Pacquiao MUST fight each other and soon this is the only way we will really know who is numero.

     

    Go Pacman...write the boxing history in your favor- beat Cotto then Mayweather.

    This match won't happen!

     

    Have you seen how they (Golden Boy Promotions) started cooking up their forthcoming match (Mayweather vs. Mosley)? It will be announced at weigh in of the Pacquiao-Cotto match. Much like their stunt on the eve of the Pacquiao-Hatton match.

     

    You see, Mayweather camp sees a brighter chance for their boy vs the aging Mosley. These are all 'practice' bouts for Mayweather as a prelude to the ultimate dream match past mid-year of 2010. Mayweather is in deep debt that his camp's moves should be calculated.

    He's boorish alright...but that's just part and parcel of his great totality as the ultimate athlete, competitor, and lover of the sports.

     

    He just hates to lose...and worked his butt out to excel, even moved heaven and earth to rebut non-believers...

    I just love my Outlander...my officemates who had Forester and CR-V are nanghinayang that they didn't wait for the new Outlander...

     

    My other officemate who had a Mitsubishi 2001 2-dr sedan bought Altis for his next car plan last 2006. The Altis suffered miserably from comparison.
