    HP Pavilion dv1150us Entertainment - Pentium M 715 1.5 GHz - 14 . According to the manual it's 5.3 lbs (light and sleek!), Intel Pentium M (1.5 GHz) , 512 MB DDR SDRAM , 80 GB IDE , 14 in TFT active matrix , 1 Lithium ion , Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. Whatever all that means! :lol:

     

    I love the remote control on this baby! It's a fab lappie. :)

    Am assuming 10K per person right?

     

    I just came from Bora and spent 10K for a 4D/3N trip via Asian Spirit with accommodations at Jony's (includes daily brekkie). Jony's has a promo rate of 4,600 for a 3D/2N stay which includes transfers. Lemme just find their number/email and I'll post it here.

    Am going to have to agree with you Bods on this, whilst price does not dictate the quality of wine but the quality of wine definitely dictates the price. I've had my dose of cheap wine and I swear they taste like dogwash. :lol:

     

    I've seen Sideways and I found it incredibly hilarious at the same time very painful. And it was just brilliant how intrinsic the vino was to the story. Bravo!

     

    Oh I'll be in Bangkok next week for work so if Sallybognamathay want's to send something for you Bods I'd be happy to carry it back home.

    Finally opened that bottle of Ravenswood Zins Vitners Blend 2000 Christmas eve and what can I say? I am in love! Wow. It's fantastic and I love that whole warm glow melting in the mouth sensation it delivers soon as it embraces the palate. Kinda reminds me of that real nice drop of St. Hugo I had many months ago in Syd. Thanks for the reco! I think I'll stop drinking anything else for a bit and stick to this drop for the meantime.

     

    agxo3, I haven't tasted limoncito but something similar to that called limoncello was featured as a Vretreria home-made drink in the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun." What they do (daw since I can't verify just how real this recipe is) is to take the skin off the lemon, put the peeled lemon in a bottle with 3/4 of alcohol and 1/4 sugar. Afterwhich the skin of the lemon is placed back in the mixture until the drink achieves the right color. Of course this was all explained as the character Marcello was trying to charm the pants off Frances. :lol: It looked quite delectable on screen --- so did Marcello! :lol:

    Please give me strength. I feel so lost, some days I don't even know what it means to live. I know he wouldn't want me to be this sad but I can't help it. You of all beings would know just how much he and my daughters are my life. I'm hurting so bad God. I'm so tired. Please help me.

    Hi Bods and wine afficionados! I've been back in Sydney and have gulped over 10 bottles of red and 5 bottles of white. I say gulp because I can't taste a thing and can't even recall what I drank. Since my hubby passed away everything has just lost it's taste.

     

    Sorry to be morose but what I meant to write is I'm going to be able to share my vino experiences in the days to come as I spend more time in Syd and my taste buds come back.

    I feel you everywhere darling ... like I always have but moreso now. On the ground I walk on, in the air everywhere enveloping me. I miss you so much that it hurts. I know you are watching me, you have been doing that since that morning. I can feel you so near. I just miss being able to hold your hand, feeling your arms around me, touching your handsome face, kissing your lips .... feeling your skin against mine.

     

    I'm so in love with you ... and I know I will keep on falling in love each day with you until I see you again -- and then we both can fall in love with each other all over again and again and again. I love the love we share, I love the life we have. I love you.

     

    But for now, go where you must go, don't worry about your girls --- I'll make sure they will all be alright. Do visit me when you can. But if you don't have to leave then stay by my side for as long as you want. I love you without any selfishness now --- and it is only in this moment that I realize just how much I love you. Even I never knew just how much before.

     

    Let's go to bed now, it's been a long day for me here. Good night.
