  1. Guys, ill be going to boracay tomorrow with my wife. It will be our first time and we will be just buying airplane roundtrip tickets. We dont know what hotel or place to stay. We figure we'll just decide when we get there. Any comments or suggestions is HIGHLY appreciated. Ill be checking your comments or suggestions these evening. Hope anyone of you can assist some firstimers. Thanks.

The last time I went there was in Oct 2003. We stayed at the Boracay ______ Chalet, its more or less in the middle, so I guess its safe to say its near Boat Station 2. The rate for this season was about P3,500 per night, because I remember paying about P1,750 because it was off season. Beach front siya na parang may bamboo fence between it and the beach. The cottages have a veranda, aircon, cable TV and ref. (of course may CR) The area is a bit quiter and night life is not as busy as the Cocomangas area but at least you don't have to walk from one end to the other to get there. Plus I remember that there's a restaurant beside it with good food and pretty reasonable prices. (Or maybe becaus it was off season) Enjoy your trip bro.

  2. gusto ko sanang magpunta ng tagaytay eh...

    ano ba maganda don....

    yung affordable pa........

    Ms. Lingerie Girl

Marami namang mapupuntahang maganda sa Tagaytay

As for affordable mayroon pa rin naman tables for rent along the ridge

Puwede kang magdala ng food and drinks

Sa Picinc Grove yata P30 lang ang entrance tapos hanap ka na lang ng spot

But like I said, my favorite place in Tagaytay is Breakfast at Antonio's

Kaya lang wala na akong kasama e.... gusto mong sumama?....... :hypocritesmiley:

  3. i live near the area...nde ko ata sya napapansin :( will look for it and ma-try nga

gusto ko yung sa isnakaroo (errr pano ba spelling nun!) basta in QC sa judge jimenez

nice naman sya and mura lang =)

Well, I guess you would know where the Petron station is. The one closer to Wilson street, not the one that's at the corner with a stoplight (Home Cable office). Its in the same lot, ground floor of a structure in the back left portion if you're facing it from P.Guevarra. I'm also curios about this place, tell me if its worth going. Thanks.

  4. Just to add, the place everyone refers to in Manila is called "Shawarma Snack Center", and was formerly known as "Golden Ship".  I'd stick to the chicken Shawarma though... a friend of mine asked the owner how he's able to keep the prices down for the beef; he said his secret was CARABEEF!

Anyway, it's still a good place... don't limit yourself to the Shawarma and try the Chicken Biryani and the Falafel.  And the Taquire (peppermint) Tea.

Yup, I remember going to this place in the early 90's. Then the "shawarma boom", they put up branches along Makati Ave and Maysilo Circle. Its been a long time since I last tasted their shawarma. Makabalik nga. Thanks to Aramis for the tip about the beef or rather carabeef shawarma.
