A first look at all of the stills from James Wan's follow-up to Saw, Dead Silence, which hits theaters March 23rd. The screenplay was written by Saw creator Leigh Whannell.

Newlyweds Jamie (Kwanten) and Lisa Ashen have established a new life for themselves far from their hometown of Ravens Fair--a sleepy, near-forgotten blip on the map haunted by late-night whispers and ghost stories from generations past. But when his wife is gruesomely murdered, Jamie reluctantly returns to Ravens Fair for the funeral, intent on unraveling the mystery surrounding her death.

Once back under his family's roof, reunited with his ill father (Gunton) and his father's new young bride (Valletta), Jamie begins to explore the creepy town and encounters the legend of Mary Shaw, a famous murdered ventriloquist whose presence still casts a pall over Ravens Fair. Himself the lead suspect in his wife's murder, Jamie is forced to dig deep into the town's bloody past for answers, where he soon uncovers the truth behind the curse that ended Lisa's life...and threatens to take his as well.

  4. Spider-man 3 News!

talked about a fight between Spiderman and Harry as a Green Goblinish character. Although this part is not in the New York script I read, apparently later in the movie Harry has a change of heart and realizes Spiderman did not k*ll his father as he'd once thought. This is relevant.

The final fight takes place at a skyscraper construction site. It's there because Venom has kidnapped Mary Jane and taken both she, and the taxicab she’s riding in, and webbed them between girders high up on one of the buildings.

Spiderman against Sandman and Venom. Spiderman holds his own but the two of them more or less begin to kick his ass. On top of this, he has to try and save Mary Jane as the webbing holding up she and the cab is starting to break.

In the end an explosion defeats Sandman. Venom eventually gets the best of Spiderman, and just as he's about to k*ll him, Harry swoops in on his glider and saves his life. The shocker is that Harry dies in the process. Mary Jane, of course, is saved.

The script also describes Peter's turn to the dark side when he acquires the black costume, as well as his flirting with Gwen Stacy and the problems it causes between he and Mary Jane, who is already bothered by his constantly risking his life. The two ultimately split up.

The final scene (at least in the NY script) is Mary Jane and Peter discussing the possibility of renewing their relationship. Whatever scenes occur after were apparently filmed at other locations.

  5. "BEYOND THE CEMETERY"

    by: cannibal corpse

Nude and violated I raped the life from her body

Lying dead the insects bite her pale skin

    My marks of torture

    Left on my daughter

    Body badly beaten

    I remember

    My ropes and chains

    bruised her arms and legs

I wiped her blood on my face

    her tender body I disgraced

    Slow strangulation

    her neck twisted and broken

    Abdominal lacerations

    Blood pouring from

    Abrasions

    Control of the mind

    feelings left behind

    dreaming inner hate

I create an alternate state of the grave

    Scared to death

    homicidal premonitions

    horror fills you

As your soul is ripped from you

    Dreaming my dream of death

    I cast the spell

    Intertwine your mind with mine

    Dreams become reality

    Enhancing the imagination

    Murder is my infatuation

    Killing off generations

    Families torn to pieces

    but the one they love

    Possessed by another

    My pleasure is to murder

    Entering your dreams

through my spell they will bleed

    Night after night

    Reoccurring killings

    Sleep

    Someone wake me

    from this nightmare

    I've become my darkest fear

    Awaken to the sight

    of your hacked up family

    their spirits are trapped

    beyond the cemetery

Bodies rotting, but I'm not sleeping

    Scream you're not dreaming

    Someone wake me

    form this nightmare

    I've become my darkest fear

Came to life in my mind

A world of darkness forever sleeping in this coffin

    Eternally dreaming......

From filmmaker Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes production company (producers of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Amityville Horror) comes The Hitcher, an update of the 1986 film of the same name.

    http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/281/onemissedcall122706wy2.jpg

Today Warner Bros. Pictures has provided us with the first official still from One Missed Call, a remake of the Japanese horror film directed by the legendary Takashi Miike. Inside you'll find the first pic and official synopsis from Eric Valette's film, which stars Ed Burns, Shannyn Sossamon, Ana Claudia Talancon, Ray Wise, Azura Skye, Johnny Lewis, Jason Beghe and Margaret Cho. Don't answer your phone on August 24th.

What will it sound like when you die? In “One Missed Call,” a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. Though the messages can be deleted, their number is up. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is traumatized when she witnesses the gruesome deaths of two friends just days apart. Even more disturbing, she knows that both of them had received chilling cell phone messages—actual recordings of their own horrifying last moments. Impossibly, the calls were received days before they died, but each death occurred precisely when and how the messages foretold. The police think Beth is delusional—except for Detective Jack Andrews (Edward Burns) whose own sister was killed in a freak accident that bears a strange similarity to the deaths of Beth’s friends. Together, Jack and Beth work feverishly to unravel the mystery behind the ominous calls. But even as they get closer to the truth, Beth’s cell phone begins to ring with an eerie tune, and the readout says One Missed Call…
