a dietitian said to me before, if you would put diet vs exercise in a ratio regards to weight loss, around 85-90% ang diet/food intake vs sa exercise na 10-15% lang. supposedly ang exercise is to maintain your ideal weight(kasama na din ang health benefits ex.stamina etc). point nya is nag eexercise ka nga, pero calorie rich foods naman kinakain mo, eh di wala din. unlike kung mag fasting ka, kahit hindi ka mag exercise you are guaranteed to loose weight eventually (pero syempre depende parin sa body type ng isang tao)
