  1. hey man, what car is that on your av, meron bang hi res?

Looks like one of Citroen's recent concept/show cars.

    Anyway back to topic:

No, Rolexes seem overrated to me. Rolexes can't play the heritage card the same way other watchmakers like Patek Philippe or Breitling can, simply because it's a relatively young watchmaker compared to most.

Also, I'm a fan of discreet stuff...Rolex is just about as far removed from discreet as you can get. KSP na ang dating. No offense. That's just me though

  2. Whichever you pick between the two, you're still getting the same amount of passenger room. It all amounts to having a huge trunk or a versatile hatch.

The City is marginally longer, but again that's because of the extra 120L trunk capacity and a slightly longer front end.

  3. medyo basura na system ko... medyo old school na...

Alpine HU, 6CD Changer and AMP

    Rockford RF-15 Sub

    Kicker ES Fronts

You'll be surprised just how prized old-school stuff can be, especially with SQ fanatics. I've heard many people complaining "they don't make them like they used to" especially when the manufacturers started making speakers and amps in China.

Don't call it "basura" just yet. As long as it sounds good, age shouldn't matter.

  4. Their shoes look amazing. But I figure they're going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I have only a few of their shirts, one was a hand-me-down from my dad. But it's still in very good shape. The shirt's even older than I am.

  5. I'm a recent Mizuno convert.

Adidas and Puma still have my approval on appeal, but for no-nonsense sport performance Mizuno has maximum bang for the buck. Some of their football/futsal shoes even look damn nice, too.

  6. I don't have any high-end watches.

Probably the priciest I have are hand-me-downs from my dad. I have a very old Girard-Perregaux wind-up gold watch with leather strap, and a Skagen Denmark titanium one with stainless steel mesh bracelet.

  7. I drive a Jazz. Of course the car will wiggle a little when a truck or bus will pass it at high speed. It's a lightweight tall car. But then again the City is just as tall as the Jazz is, they're mechanical siblings. It'll happen to either car.

Buses and trucks displace a lot of air when they move, and the "wash" they produce will be collected in the Jazz's sides. It's never enough to unsettle the car, especially if you have your hands on the wheel all the time (which you should). So while this air "wash" from trucks/buses affects the Jazz, it'll also affect similarly tall cars --- the City, the Innova, the Avanza, the Fuzion...get my point?

Personally I like the Jazz more than the City. If you truly need a 500L trunk, then get the City, but you lose out on ultimate maneuverability because the Jazz is a lot shorter. The Jazz's 380L trunk is actually big enough for a typical week's groceries, and the load space is more versatile than the City's.

  8. accept things as they are...and quit wishing for something you clearly can't have...life is too short to be spent sulking around, to the point of overanalyzing things....just live by and enjoy the moments spent....

    Agreed. :)

The real measure of a man or woman is how gracefully he/she has let go of things not meant to be.

  9. Dr. James Wilson of "House" swears by "hopes, dreams and aspirations." Supposedly an "instant panty-peeler." Not proven, though. Bwahahahaha!

Ulterior motives aside, though, that's a good place to start. Personally, I try to find out her interests and ask about what happened to her recently, and build up a conversation from there.

I don't believe in "research," too much of it can backfire. She might think you're a stalker.
