  1. I was in a State U here in Manila.

    Happy-go-lucky. ). Wala akong maalalang instance na nagbuklat ako ng libro for an exam or class. Maliit na bag, binder, isang ballpen at PSP lang lagi kong dala nun and I used to cut classes mga twice a month just to visit my gf somewhere South. Eventually, nabuntis ko sya. Hehe!

    But surprisingly, I still got good grades -- almost made it to the Honor roll and managed to finish college on time. I was even recruited as a legal researcher by one of the most law dominant law firms in the country after I was recommended by my college professor.

    Work there was really life-changing.

    Kaya just enjoy college. Wag lang magpabaya masyado.

  2. Anong Acer to brad?

    Btw if you have a m.2 ssd slot free better buy a good one (samsung evo, or crucial). Put your OS in that SSD and it will boot up within seconds.

    It's an Aspire, bro. E-series if I remember it correctly. Can't remember lang kung anong exact model. Gf has it na kasi. Minsan ko na lang makita. Hehe!

    Anyway, sales guy told me that the RAM is expandable since it has an additional slot for it. I just don't know if pasok ba ang SSD dito. Can you enlighten me on this matter? Thanks, bro!

  3.

    Thanks for answering my query BBB.

    one last question, if something bad happens to her (knock on wood) like hurting herself and slit her own wrists and ends up in the hospital.

    Will i be held accountable?

    Thank you.

    I'm glad to be of help, King.

    No, you won't be held accountable, provided that you have not assisted in any way in her attempt to commit a suicide. Referring to your earlier post as to the circumstances of your case, there is no showing that you have assisted her in the commission of such act, hence, you cannot be held liable. Again, this is based merely on your version of the story and this is not a conclusive presumption.

    For the information of everybody:

    While the act of suicide itself is not punishable under the Revised Penal Code, the act of assisting a person in the commission of such suicide is considered a felony, thus, punishable by imprisonment.

    I hope everything would be fine, King. Good luck!

  4. I have an inquiry.

    i have this psycho ex-girlfriend. She's suicidal and can't move on when things didn't work out between us.

    She's been saying things like "isusumpa ko kayong lahat simula sayo hanggang sa pamilya mo at anak mo", "mamamatay din kayong lahat" and to make things worst, she messaged my friends and relatives about the awful thing that i have done to her in the past (we aborted the baby when she got pregnant).

    Is there any lawsuit that i can file against her?

    Thank you.

    First, assuming that you both reside within the same Barangay, a quick fix on this would be the filing of a complaint before the Lupon of the Barangay and asking them for the issuance of a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) against your psycho ex-girlfriend. Here, they will try their best efforts for you and your ex-gf to reach a settlement or reconciliation at the very least. If no settlement or reconciliation is reached by the both of you, it is only then that they will issue a clearance for you to pursue legal actions from the courts.

    Now, to answer your inquiry,

    As to the cursing, there is none since her words would not fall as threats against the complainant as defined under the Revised Penal Code (RPC) nor can you claim Damages from such words under the pertinent provisions of the Civil Code since to claim for such, actual injuries and/or besmirched reputation must be sustained by the plaintiff.

    As to her, messaging your relatives, there are two options:

    A) File a civil case for Damages anchoring your claim on besmirched reputation, severe anxiety and sleepless nights; or

    B) File a criminal case against her for Slander by Deed or Intriguing Against Honor.

    Just a quick note:

    In the filing of civil cases, the plaintiff merely asks the courts for payment of Damages, be it actual, compensatory, liquidated, etc. The remedy availed of here by the plaintiff is the mere payment of monetary value as prayed for in the complaint, whereas in the filing of criminal cases, the complainant actually seeks the imprisonment of the defendant/accused and/or the payment of fines.

    So be really careful in choosing your option. Think twice and hard. Plus, think about the actual cost of litigation and the hours that will be spent, should you choose to pursue legal actions against your psycho ex-girlfriend.

    Good luck, I wish you all the best!

  5. Tried this technique.

The kuya said bawal daw mag-isa so sabi ko Baket? E pagod talaga ako galing sa long drive so wanted to take a power nap and gawin na rin as suggested sa quoted post. Eventually, pinayagan naman.

    Room: ok

    Service: meh

    As for me kasi, medyo regular na din ako dun.

Kaya aun.

    Maybe next time, bro.

  6. I have a mid-entry Acer laptop worth around 26k. Equipped with a Core i5 processor and a Nvidia Geforce graphics card. Forgot the model name though. Nasa bahay kasi yung laptop. Hehe!

    My thoughts on my unit:

    PROS:

    -sleek looking (brushed steel look all around) and one of the slimmest laptops in the market;

    -performs really well as advertised;

    -ok pang gaming -- kaya yung Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Black Flag at medium settings;

    -you can add an extra RAM stick since there are two slots available -- one is factory equipped with a 4GB stick and the other can be equipped with an additional stick with not more than 8GB of RAM;

    -factory-equipped with a 1TB hard drive -- just wow;

    -wireless connection is really fast and stable;

    -superb battery life;

    -fast charging; and

    -really nice speakers.

    CONS:

    -starts slow -- sluggish sya upon boot up pero bumibilis naman as you are using it. Siguro mga 10mins after boot up, dun mo pa lang mararamdaman yung smoothness at bilis ng performance;

    -materials used kinda feel flimsy. Made of plastic ang body and it feels like it is super fragile; and

    -I think it's a little bit pricey since you can get a higher spec and updated Asus laptop for the same price.

    Am I happy about this laptop?

    > Definitely. I've been a desktop PC lover ever since mainly because of AAA gaming but this one changed the way I view laptops after just a few days of daily use. Plus, the RAM can be upgraded to a whopping 16GB. Imagine having this kind of memory sa laptop mo.

    Bang for the buck?

    > Sort of. I was supposed to get an ASUS unit because for the same price, the specs are higher and the model is updated. However, I decided to go with Acer since their freebies at that time are really competitive. Imagine getting an Acer smartwatch valued at around PhP2,000.00, a branded wireless mouse valued at PhP600.00 and a legit Transcend 16GB Ultra flash drive valued at around PhP1,000.00. Also, Acer got me because of its 1TB of hard drive storage as most laptops in the market are usually factory-equipped with a maximum of 500GB storage only.

    Will I recommend this to others?

    > Somehow. I usually recommend ASUS laptops only because of its durability and features but Acer really gives them a good competition here. So it's now Acer v. ASUS kapag magrerecommend ako. Hehe! If only Acer uses a stronger and more durable material for its body and chassis.

  7. Personally, a house and lot is a better and wiser investment since it lasts for generations and while time passes by, its value appreciates. You can buy low and sell high sa house and lot.

    A condo unit, on the other hand, depreciates as time passes by. True, it can be a great source of passive income but only when you have some extra money to spend -- mahirap mamumuhunan sa condo unit lalo na kung di naman kalakihan yung sahod. Ownership doesn't even pass to you even if ang laki ng binayaran mo. Here, you're just a mere lessee and ownership is retained by the developer -- that's why may 50-year period sa contract. So in the end, wala ding mapapasayo.

    Just my two cents.

  8. rose garden sta mesa my kotse akong dala. open the window and told them 3 hours. nakita naman yata na ako l;ang magisa ;)

    last sunday and tuesday. tawag ako sa dial 0 and ask for a massage thera.

    Kamusta ang massage, bro? FR naman dyan. Hehe!

  9. Negative.. Di nagpapapasok ng mag isa ka lang..

    First of all, di naman nila itatanong if may kasama ka or wala, for as long as dumirecho ka sa garage, i-aassist ka nila.

    Third, you normally wait sa sasakyan mo while they are fixing the room. Once they're done, they just give you the thumbs up sign signalling that the room is ready to use. They will not wait for the guest/s to alight from the vehicle and check kung ilan sila.

    Lastly, I've never been to a motel that rejects a guest because he or she is alone. Parang wala naman atang logic behind dun. Kaya nga motel eh: motorists' hotel. So like me, pag pagod na ko from work and late night na, I check in sa mga motels to sleep for atleast 3 hours or overnight if time permits.

    So maybe, minalas ka lang that time kaya hindi ka pinapasok or maybe, just maybe, baka nag walk-in ka lang nun or nag taxi ka kaya nakita kang mag-isa. But then again, I don't think pwede ka nilang ireject for that reason.

  10. how much is there 3 hours / 6 hours ( if they have)? :ninja:

    Yes they have 3 hours. Around 350 Pesos lang if you have a discount card -- hingi ka kaagad upon driving in sa garage para madiscount nila upon check out.

    If wala namang discount card, nasa 400+. Can't remember the exact price.

    As to the 6 hours, not sure kung magkano since I haven't tried it yet. But overnight is 700+ Pesos (discounted). So maybe you can get the price range from here.

    Happy pumping!

  11.

    Salamat sir. I was hoping n meron tlga s sulok2 hahaha. Problema q kc when I'm partying in Timog, usually I'm plastered n and don't want to drive far. I guess it will be Grab n lng.

    Welcome, bro! Yeah, safest bet is to use Grab/Uber na lang para maka party hard and pump harder ka. Hehe! Goodluck!
