  1. Lola Idang's has the best Pancit Malabon for me. For Palabok, I like the one that Kobi Bayan makes.
  2. Toby's Estate, Habitual and Coffee Academics are my top 3.
  3. I don't eat breakfast cause I do intermittent fasting. But I do love breakfast food. Usually eat a silog for lunch.
  4. Tried it once, didn't like it. Even with the sugar and water mix, it's still kinda nasty.
  5. The highest grade Wagyu beef, grilled with just salt. On the side, some really good Tsukemen. Yamazaki single malt for drinks. And the most decadent moist chocolate cake possible for dessert.
  6. My favorite way of making adobo is adding oyster sauce, taosi, a little mirin and potatoes. I also add cornstarch slurry para thick yung sauce.
  7. Most of these concepts all died because they failed to offer something really unique and consistently delicious. Even the best of them, Hole in The Wall died because of terrible location and mismanagement.
  8. I love sweet and bitter cocktails, so I always go for a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and Negroni.
  9. Learned to eat veggie pretty late na, nung college na ako. Favorites ko ang pakbet, laing, and laswa. Masarap din mag oven roast ng squash, cauliflower at brocolli. Olive oil lang + salt and pepper, super sarap na.
  10. Ihihaw na isol (chicken ass) at chicharong bulaklak. Deadly, pero worth the sakit sa batok lol.
  11. If you want affordable lobsters, go to Catanduanes during summer. Mahal pa din at 900/kilo, but still way cheaper than anything in Manila. They're great cooked in buttered garlic or in a simpleng ginataan.
  12. Pan de Amerikana in Marikina (formerly White Plains) has the best ones for me. A bit on the expensive side, pero ok lang kasi kahit lumamig na, masarap pa din.
  13. A. Toyo or Hapag B. Va Bene or Amano C. Antonio's in Tagaytay D. Locavore
