  2. A kind of burning

    it is perhaps because

    one way or the other

    we keep this distance

    closeness will tug us apart

    in many directions

    in absolute din

    how we love the same

    trivial pursuits and

    insignificant gewgaws

    spoken or inert

    claw at the same straws

    pore over the same jigsaws

trying to make heads or tails

    you take the edges

    i take the center

    keeping fancy guard

    loving beyond what is there

    you sling at stars

    i bedeck the weeds

    straining in song or

    profanities towards some

    fabled meeting apart

    from what dreams read

    and suns dismantle

we have been all the hapless

    lovers in this wayward world

in almost all kinds of ways

    except we never really meet

but for this kind of burning

  3. SMPH mahirap i predict coz it could go either way in the long term. pero mukhang pabor sa pataas. though you could make money here trading the ranges (buying low, selling high)

URC as of today will go up to 20... damn... nung 19 pa price nya nung bumili ako

Early this month nasa 64 pang sya, last friday umabot na sya sa 82.

  4. Is it still good to buy stocks with a capital of P35,000-P50,000 only?

Pare, am no moneyman, pero ang suggestion ko, go into mutual funds instead.

  5. Hi there,

I you help me guys and gals

am looking for the formula for dishwasher liquid and liquid soap.

can you please tell me where I could find this details.

    thankS!

Someone suggested NegoSkwela in the QC circle area. Well incidentally, I met Charito Planas yesterday and she gave me this contact details. I duuno if this is the Negoskwela mentioned here, but her livelihood training is also in the QC circle, and yes, Planas' group teaches soap making as well as other stuff.

Anyway, Ms. Planas gave me these contact details for inquiries about livelihood programs" (c/o Bing Sabio ***-**** or 0919*******. (i hope posting this numbers, which i got from Planas' flyers, is OK).

    Good luck bro.

Mod Note: Posting of contact numbers are strictly prohibited. Please use your pm functions.

  6. KOnting promo lang, mga boss.

Kung may time kayo, manood kayo sa channel 4 bukas, 6PM. Ita-topic sa program na GSIS Members HOur ang GSIS Mutual Fund (aka, GSIS Kinabukasan Fund).

Open itong MF na to sa lahat, although GSIS members can put in as low as P1,000 initial capitalization and P500 for additionals.

Non GSIS members can also invest with P5,000 and P1,000 additionals.

I think balanced fund to, and last year, nakakuha to ng yield na 14%.

  7. Pare,

I'm just citing First Gen as case study. But it does not follow na kukuha ako nito. Actually, I'm setting my sights on GMA dahil baka this na sila mag IPO. Gusto ko sana ready ako once GMA goes public. Balita ko din Robina will go public with its new capitalization needs.

Kaso nga, ignarante ako how IPO works. I'm sure other members would also appreciate to know a thing or two about this.

    1. Where do I need to go to buy shares?

    2. What are the extra charges to look out for?

    3. Citing, for sample purposes, the case of First Gen na may Offer Price P51.00 to P62.00 per Offer Share, ano talaga ang presyo nito?

    4. How do I redeem my investment? May lock-in period ba?

    5. Lahat ba ng IPOs OK pasukan?

    6. When is a good time to get in and bail out, just in time for grate piece of the action?

    Thanks pare.

i seriously would not hype much about this stock as a majority of Lopez-owned stocks are falling.. also Meralco is also having some problems with the government.... but to each his own...its your money

    anyways..

  8. Hi MTC Moolah Experts!

Since college, nadidinig ko na itong IPOs. Interesado ako dito, kaso noong panahong iyon (ang sikat yata na IPO that time is Petron), hindi kaya ng allowance ko to get this.

I'll post this IPO info I got from RCBC. I think it's about First Gen's IPO. Baka pwedeng i-case study natin...

    Questions:

    1. Where do I need to go to buy shares?

    2. What are the extra charges to look out for?

    3. Sabi dito, ang Offer Price ay P51.00 to P62.00 per Offer Share. So ano talaga ang presyo?

    4. How do I redeem my investment? May lock-in period ba?

    5. Lahat ba ng IPOs OK pasukan?

    Thanks. :)

Eto iyong non-life insurance namin. Kaso this is limited lang sa mga GSIS members and their dependents. Sayang nga kasi gusto naming icover pati non-members, kaso ayaw kaming payagan ng Insurance Commission. Masyado kasing mura products namin.

Anyway, for our enhanced non life, meron kaming Motor Vehicle (comprehensive), Fire Insurance/Personal Accident, Property Floater, Marine and Aviation, Bonds, etc.

Sample lang, sa motor vehicle. Kadalasan yung comprehensive sa P650K worth na brand new na sasakyan ranges from P25,000 to P30,000.

Sa GSIS, it's as low as 1.6 percent ng value nung sasakyan. So for the same type of vehicle, you pay only P10,400. So easily, for the same insurance cover, makakatipid ka ng about P19,000. DI na masama di ba?

Kaya kung GSIS member ka, or asawa, anak, or magulang ka ng member, go to any GSIS offices to get this, or call GSIS General Insurance at 891-6352.

    Thanks.

  10. In the same manner, you can't compare fuel consumption ng 1.6 sa 1.3, right? For a 1.6, fuel consumption of 11-12km/liter is not bad at all. I notice you're a honda fanatic, so i'll leave you alone.

Maluwag sa loob saka busog sa freebies like tools, power doors, alarm, tint, and my favorite, yung backup sensors. Saka kayang kayang iwan sa highway ang City, Jazz, Vios, and Corolla. Mababa lang ang resale value, pero what the heck, I don't intend to sell it naman.

Got mine last year for P600K.
