  1. TALO NA NAMAN!!! Pinatay ko na yung TV with 1:50 minutes pa. Tyak na talo! Ang comment ng commentator: They need BIG MEN, BIG MEN (he was referring to Ginebra).

hehehe, tama ka, naging tagahanga rin ako ni Marlou when he was still young since nasa Youth Team natin, sa Adamson, hanggang sa Barangay. What I am referring is yung ngayong panahon, tinamad na si Marlou. I wonder kung si Jawo yung coach during that crucial end-game. Ilalaro pa kaya ni Big J yung last 0.2 seconds? MALAMANG!

  3. Mayweather jailed in Las Vegas

By AP (The Philippine Star) Updated December 19, 2010 12:00 AM Comments (0)

LAS VEGAS – Floyd Mayweather Jr. spent a night in a Las Vegas jail before his release Friday on a misdemeanor battery warrant stemming from an allegation that the boxer poked a security guard in the face last month outside his home.

The second arrest in three months for the undefeated prizefighter drew allegations from his lawyer that police and prosecutors overreacted to a minor criminal accusation and that the 33-year-old Mayweather was getting “unequal punitive exaggerated treatment.”

“This is a misdemeanor,” attorney Richard Wright told The Associated Press. He noted that police usually write a ticket for a misdemeanor, or issue a court summons at the jail.

Wright accused District Attorney David Roger of “going out of his way to treat (Mayweather) differently than anyone else.”

Roger didn’t immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

  4. fool me once, shame on you Miller.

fool me twice, shame on me.

fool me thrice? shame on you Jong!

One of the real role models ng PBA. PERO....................naagawan na naman si Miller sa dying minutes of the game!!!!!!!!!

  6. What do we know with AVO in SG, Toroman is magician with regards to big men (e.g. Greg Slaughter, great 2 years of development) but I personally don't believe that SG has the luxury of time to develop AVO in time for FIBA. I would give it a year or two before AVO can join the SG primary line-up and form a formidable frontline. A 6'9" is still a 6'9" but time rippens everything.

Just curious Aguilar has a deadly twin tower combination way back his Mapua Red Robins days with Galinato. They're a lethal combo before on both defense and offese (specially on defense they are both 6'9"). What could have happened to Galinato? Galinato has a thicker body built than Aguilar, a good mobility, fine in halfcourt sets. The only suspect on his game was his athletism and jumping abilities. What could have happened to him?

Oo nga pala, nasaan na si Galinato? Ano kaya nangyari dun? Sana naman hindi ala-Feihl yung dinedevelop natin. Maski si Jawo, sumuko after years of teaching, mental preparation at tyaga.

In fairness naman kay Asi, buo ang loob niya for the Philippines, tawagin mo yan, sugod kaagad sa pagtanggap unlike sina Marlou, Ildefonso, J Yap, etc. and daming dahilan. Pero dapat talaga si CABAGNOT na lang pinasok, isang franchise player, isang clutch shooter, isang long haired mean man, isang .........................alamat! mawawala ang malas ng PH lotion, este, team. laugh.gif

  8. It isn't that easy to drop a much loved passion, taking away basketball is like taking away a leg or an arm from each of us.

May I ask you how empty did you feel that the last SEA Games in the Phil which didn't had a basketball event so is the Laos SEA Games?

Which sport may you say do we dominate and should concentrate on? As I know almost in every sport we are always considered as underdogs, except for Manny Pacquiao who is widely considered as a "once in a lifetime athlete" or a "phenom"

Nope, did not missed them during that SEAGs. I just observed other sports that have medal potentials for the Philippines. What sport? One is volleyball. yes we have the height to match the other teams including the internationals, not just in Asia, AND.....hindi physical. Natatalo tayo sa mga physical games kasi nga ayaw masaktan at mapilayan all because their eyes are on the high paying jobs sa pros. Yes, you can have sprained ankles sa volleyball but not that nangyayari sa basketball. We have the speed, the height, and the guts for volleyball. Another thing, maliit lang espasyo for the sport na hindi kagaya ng football, baseball. I remember when Fischer won the world championship over Spassky sa chess, basketball took a backseat sa Pilipinas and chess became the national passion at that time. Same thing when SEAG were held here early 80s, with Lydia de Vega, Del Prado, Carmelo, Thompson, Buhia won medals, halos napuno ang swimming pools, tracks sa Metro Manila and provinces.

  9. Well, develop another sport that we have capabilities to be champions or at least a good fighting chance. Puro basketball, puro basketball....yes, its our national sport (hindi na sepak takraw) but that does not mean you have to spend millions of dollars on a walang kakahinatnan na sport. And sa atin, puro basketball, basketball, basketball, tapos wala man lang placing. WAKE UP, GOVERNMENT. WAKE UP, MVP, WAKE UP PEPING!!!

  10. ..................artistang asawang baliw ph34r.gif . His stats show naman. In the past PJ Simon's a sleeper, now lang sa past 4 games siya nagpakitang lakas wink.gif Back to Ginebra, I liked the way Hatfield fought for the ball last night mas lalo ng nag pa gulong gulong sila ni Aliado ata yun for the loose ball. When and susunod na laban?

  12. "I dont have too much prostration dahil pinayagan ako ng PBA maglaro" 4:48

    http://en.wikipedia....ki/Alex_Compton

When a coach heard Compton was born in the Philippines, he told Compton that he could play on a team in the Philippine Basketball Association. Compton found an agent, who arranged for him to join a team in July 1997, after graduation.

Ah, ok...........what I admire in this man is that he learned to speak in Tagalog, maski ganito nangyari sa kanya. Unlike the veterans FilAms, FilShams, FilForeigner sa PBA atbp. ni hindi marunong magsalita ng sarili nating wika hanggang mag retire sila, iba 8-10 years na dito. Ganyan ba ang Pinoy(?). MALALANSANG ISDA mga yun.

  14. Alex Compton never got this process, though he is dying to be naturalize Filipino, then one day he gave up those dreams I think and retired.

Anong dahilan? Buti pa si Cabagnot, naging Pinoy!
