I can't speak for the Republic of the Philippines, but I can speak for the Republic of Metro Manila - No more typhoon, so warm as always, though it's a little cooler now esp. the evenings.

What's that one place you always want to visit often?

Logistics. You're given money, asked to spend it, make sure the stuff gets here on time, count everything you've bought, package it, deliver it, make sure it gets everywhere on time, and count the stuff again - both what you have and what just left.
