I wish it was a simple answer. Hahaha.
Not easily angered.

Happiness and love are two different things. Both are emotions, but happiness never makes the whole of love and you can love all you want and never be happy in return. I believe that happiness will always be a permanently positive emotion while love, in all its power, will either be a positive or a negative one depending on the circumstances. Happiness is the state of being elated, of being happy, while love is the emotion that leads to the action of loving someone, caring for them, through thick or thin, regardless if they make you happy at the current moment or not. Ultimately, love leads to happiness, loses it, then leads back to it again - it's a far more complex emotion.
I believe it works differently for different people, and since it does that way, in knowing thyself, and loving thyself, the most important question to ask is: are you going to find greener pastures or are you going to make your pastures green? Are you the type who'll focus on building up yourself and bracing yourself for the perfect relationship, or are you the one whose self-worth is in growing the same time as someone you choose to make you happy? Neither is wrong as both are valid ways.
There's also a reason people have different levels of what makes them happy, and there truly is no one set of rules that all people have to adhere to, to be happy. The most important thing is that every person does not have a doubt on their mind that they are in their state of nirvana, regardless of how it is, or how it looks, compared to others. I believe saying that you truly love yourself is reaching that point, because things only go wrong when you think you've gotten it then you see someone else and you realize that's what you want, and so on and so forth. You can argue that this is just being content, that it's probably no different from the 'puwede na' attitude that you're supposed to avoid. It probably is, but realize there's two different ways of contentment, there's 'puwede na', and there's 'eto na!'
When you're unshakeable in your sweet spot of happiness, whether it's you selfishly attending to yourself and your emotions properly, or tending to your relationship and making it into your own masterpiece, then I say you love yourself.

@BG: Working on a hobby and a text message.
@Capn: Water, walking, a long bio-break.
What do you usually do when you feel nothing's going your way?
-
You know what, workmates and I did just about that. Di nga lang white chicks...it's the lip sync battle on the Tonight Show.
Is going to watch either of the two above again now, or in a bit.
-
Manual. I just love the motions.
-
Avicii's Trouble, original and the fingerstyle cover by Harry Cho. Nice with and without the lyrics.

One really, really good hour and a half today...and yes, isama na yung today.
-
Observant.
-
Salty and spicy actually, hahaha. Noodles!
Having dinner as well.
-
Yes, in fact I have. Lots, and lots, and lots...of times.
If you do have that something/someone you know you can never have, what do you do about it? Do you still try or do you just let it go knowing you never could?
-
OffTop: If it does get you pumped and enthused, it counts. Hahahaha.
OnTop: That someday we can turn things around as a people, and once again return to the times when the Philippines was considered one of the, if not the, strongest country (-ies) in SEA.
In the same vein...if you had a dream for this country, what is it and how would go about fulfilling it?
-
@ GotP: Downhill boarding, or biking.
@gva: I'm a PS fan eh, so PS4 for me hahaha.
Stuff that gets you pumped up and enthused most of the time?
-
Probably Oskar Schindler.
Same question!

They say pag nababahing ka daw pinag-usapan ka somewhere...
..so nababahing ako very frequently for the last 30 minutes pero wala naman ako sipon, ano yun may seminar ba at ako yung topic somewhere???
-
Tumpak!
Is wondering what kind of zombie what-if questions would follow and when would it end.
-
@BC: Make like Bill Murray and blend in. Hahaha.
@GotP: Swear and deride him/her in every possible and unheard of swear word in every language, then tell him/her to do good things from then on.
You're still human and consciously acting as one, but suddenly you feel that you're starting to have a taste for the flesh/brains. What would you do?
-
Try and go to the ends of the sick, sad, little world to find a cure. If none, write his/her will for him/her in my favor, in the presence of a lawyer, then painfully and extremely hesitantly deliver from his/her misery.
If your significant other (assuming the presence of one) has been bitten. What do you do?
-
@GotP: Nice, MTC members you wish to save...pwede kaya bagong thread yun? Hahaha.
Let's see...ChinaDoll, Femcasanova, Sitti, BettyConfidential, shhhhh, MsWeekend, Charlie_360, tonya....wait, am I missing some people? Hahahaha.
@hylozoist: An axe (melee weapon/obstacle clearing), Condoms (for storing water, according to Bear Grylls), A box of matches (for fires).
@GotP Again: I'd run, find a lot of LPG tanks, open them up, draw the zombies closer, and shoot. Wait, kasama ata ako dun...oh well.
What's the first thing you should remember in a zombie apocalypse?
-
OffTop: Especially when they fly?
OnTop: Had to take the stairs some time ago (from a double digit floor) down. On the way, passed this good American dad carrying his daughter up the stairs. When I greeted them and passed by, I suddenly heard the kid say...
"Just k*ll him."
And the Dad goes on saying that's not a good thing, etc, etc. Still, dumbstruck.
If ever there was a zombie apocalypse, what're the first things you'd look for?
-
Eight (and above) legged freaks, big ones. Bitten by a big one kasi before, kaso no I cannot climb walls nor produce webs, nor do my senses tingle at signs of trouble.
The type of phobia you find amusing/wierd/strange?
-
"Punks not dead" Haha. Kidding. I just suddenly had the image of getting a full body tattoo in the form of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica".
Afraid or not afraid of needles? The syringe type.
-
If that was me, I might not be able to put it into words. A meaningful hug and your presence for the person(s) left behind may be just the best way I can think of.
Ever felt saddened by the passing of someone not close to you? Whose was it?
-
Probably a dandelion. So my good ideas can fly far away and multiply. But wait, that may mean my nightmares too...oh well.
If you were to go to a celestial body, which one would you like to visit best? And why as well?
-
Off the top of my head, probably a little notebook I keep. It's got my innermost thoughts about the people I cared about the most, among other important things...
...including my Swiss bank account numbers, hotlines of the people in high places in times of trouble, and my plans for world domination, hahahaha.
Well, ditto: What would you leave in your will for that special person?
