Interesting Doc Love regarding your views on the Zoom ultraflight. Guess I'm one of those people who has narrow feet thats why the narrowness of the plastic chasis doesn't bother me. But you know, most black people have wide feet too, thats why I ask a team mate of mine who also wears the ultraflight and he told me that the shoe started out a bit tight, but it later conformed to the shape his feet. That made it even better when playing because the foot doesn't move around because of the customize fit. I haven't tried mine on the hard wood yet so the shoe is still in it's original shape. If you have read Prof K review before of the nike foamposite, its also one of those technology that when body heat coming out from our feet after playing for a couple of hours soften the foamposite compound of the shoe which make it to conform to the shape of your feet. I think this same principle applies to the ultraflight. Well enough talk.. I'll let you guys know nalang when I get to test run it in one of our games. :cool:

Here's another option that you might like if zoom air is the kind of responsiveness that you want for your cushioning. The air ultraflight is one shoe you might like.It came out a few seasons ago.. It had zoom air with an extra stack of zoom air at the heel for those players on the heavy side. really stable too with good fit because of the thermo plastic chasis it has and stretchable inner fit sleeve. Had one in storage for sometime now, got it really cheap. Dont know how come not many players are wearing them here, unlike the respose I see when I visit nike talk. Prof K gave it a very good review thats why I went out to get one. Try looking for it, there might be one available yet. Good luck.

well yes, depende sa shoes... most of the time i just pull the laces on tighter... im a big fan of the VC 1 tho, coz nka-zipper xa... and it feels really good on my feet...

yung VC 3 mejo bad trip, whenever im required to play all 40 mins of a game, sumasakit ang balls ng feet ko... im probably gonna buy le bron's shoes or something next time around, something light and comfy... right now im really having fun with the running game (ala suns) and since im no steve nash, id like something light enuf to run with.. any suggestions? i dunno if i shud buy something with zoom air tho, coz im way too heavy for that......

Yo spitzky, Im also a bit on the heavy side. Im presently around 190 pounds ( gained about 15 to 20 pounds late last year after I got sick...oh well...) So far the zoom drive I'm using feels just fine on my feet. It's a bit hard to find though ( same shoe that steve nash is rocking right now.) He's about 6'3" and 200 pounds. So you two should be around the same weight, my friend told me there was still a size 14 at sports haven over at club 650 selling at 2,800. Another option you might like is the air max sensation with max air at the heel, very stable and light because of the big TPU mid and heel support. I saw an all black and a white/black combination at why pay more over at shaw blvd. Around 2,800 rin ata. So maybe you can check out which one fits you better.

Sorry Doc wala pang balita. Dnt worry I will post up the info once there is another sale. As for the H2K5, tempting nga specially yung silver and white na colorway, just the same color Jimmy Jackson and the Matrix are wearing for the Phoenix sun . Pero I doubt that we will get to see that on sale in the future, very limited lang kasi yung pinarating na quantity ng Nike Philippines , just like the H2K4 rarely do I see the color way I want on sale. Actually sold out na rin siya just like the Zoom Drive, I was just lucky to get my hands on those zoom drives..hehe . Been trying to restore nga rin my Jordan 5, using shoeglue, saw those adhisive at athletes foot ermita robinson. Expensive nga eh, 340 pesos per tube. But from the specifications about the glue, it has a longer elasticity compound so unlike the mighty bond it stretches when you flex the certain part of the shoe while you are wearing it. I'll update you guys when it is successful. As for the moment here is how the H2k5 white and silver looks like...bling bling.. :cool:

Spitzy, the first shoe you put up is called the Foamposite 2, or other wise Kevin Garnett signature nike shoe, he wore those during the 2000 sydney olympic. The original design had the name garnett written on the heel strip , but that was before he started rocking and1 and so Nike change the design and put in the 5 dots where his name was suppose to be to signify alpha project.( Nike special gear division) You are lucky to have those pair, Prof K had very high regards for that shoe. Been looking all over for those.. Have regrets for not getting a pair when they went on sale 50% a few year ago. As for your adidas kobe( I think its called the elevate, but Im not sure) Had a pair of that too. Gave it to my best buddy because the shoe was a bit big and my foot moved too much inside. But great shoe and very flexible midsole, not much ankle support though. Let us know if what doc love suggested help in softening up the adiprene did any good by applying armour all. Thanks. :cool:

Tol interesting yung hobby mo. Kaya mo rin bang i-restore yung mga nagpupulbos na mid-soles? I have kasi OG Air Max 95, Reebok Pump, AJIV, AJVI, & AJX na di ko pa natatapon. Too bad wasak na lahat suwelas. Di pa kasi ako nagpapahid ng Armor-All sa midsoles ko during that time e. Magagawan pa ba ng paraan yan?

Yeah we must be around the same height. Ok rin pala yung hobby na par restore. I have a few din na napulbos na yung midsole. AJ V, PippenIV , AJ III and Air way up ( suot din ni pippen circa 1996) , but you know whats funny, it only happens to my Nike collection. Sa mga adidas collection ko naman its usually the upper that breaks down first before the midsole. My Kobe8 and recently A3 forefoot synthetic leather upper thore very easily. I dont know if its because I kept it in the box too long before I use it. Sayang nga eh, just when I was getting use to playing in it. Now I'm worried that my A3 superstar ultra upper will break down too once I use it. Dont know if you have any suggestion on how to take care of the leather so it wont flake or crack after some time. They really dont make shoes like they use to.. I still remember my converse startech which my aunt game me from the states and it lasted my whole 5 years in college. Sulit na sulit talaga. Not much technology in it but it sure was built to last...Hmmm wonder where it is by now. ( hope my mom didn't throw those away..) Well let me know guys if there is any sollution for these problems. Yo doc,There were a few Air force 1s, the premium edition which is colored brown was selling at 40% off, but unfortunately sizes goes up to only 10.5 or 11. Same with the white with silver grey swosh. There were a lot of dunk with sizes available up to 13 i think. Aside from what I mentioned there were very few retro version. Guess they were just cleaning out their stocks. As for the opening, it was mentioned to be 9, but the time I got there they told me that 10 am pa raw opening and we even had to wait a few minutes longer because the officer in charge wasn't around yet. Well tomorrow na last day, hope most of our friends from MTc was able get a bargain. I personally wasn't able to get one for myself. Was eyeing the Jordan 13 white/ carolina version but only goes up to size 11. A bit cramp for me because I wear a size 12. Good luck guys and don't forget to keep posting. :cool:

Pre if you are still looking for the zoom drive, I saw one red color at sports haven over at club 650 in libis. Size 7.5 lang nga and on sale siya at 10% off. Hey doc you are in luck, guess what. I just got back from rockwell and saw the delta force premium edition on sale at 40% off. Must be selling around 2700+ by now. So do to stadium or planet sports to get them, although limited and mga sizes, I saw a few 8, 9 and the biggest I think was 11, here's a picture I took kanina as proof. :boo:

Pre, I usually buy those shoes na naka sale na, some times last pair nalang. If you read my previous post you will know why. But to satisfy your curiosity I will let you know how I usually find these shoes. Lets just say I have a network of friends who are also shoe heads like me that inform each othere when ever we see a sale with our particular size available. Some times naman we befriend the store clerk, so that they will inform us if there are special shoes on sale , so we can call them up and ask them if they can reserve it for us for a couple of days. As for the zoom drive , I got them for less than 3K at Sprots haven over at club 650 libis. :cool: The AJ 13 lows just came out and is not on sale yet but you can find some at athlete's foot and NIke park glorieta makati. My contacts over there says that these shoes are very limited in quantity so I'm not sure if they will ever get to be on sale. Unless you are willing to fork out around P 6,500 for a pair. Its too expensive for me thats all I can say. :cry:

That LeBron is nice, will you buy one? I hate those people who immediately buy those desirable shoes as soon as they drop out & then show them off immediately & ruin them by using them for everyday wear instead of balling. My preference is still to buy shoes on sale so that I get more bang for the buck.

Same here doc, most of my shoes I got them when they were on sale na. Except maybe for the Jordan big fund, but thats another story because a friend gave me a Nike park gift certificate for that one. Further more it give me pleasure to hunt down for those good bargain :boo: , lets just say that I'm usually lucky because I wear bigger than average size shoes and most of the time it's the one on sale, I wear them once or twice to walk first just to break them in before I play ball in them. My shoes last longer now because unlike before that I get to play 3 to 4 times a week. Now because of work I only get to play once or twice. As for the Lebron 2 lows, they are nice but I saw one better than that yesterday. All white jordan 13 lows, the difference here is, instead of the part where its the swede material, it has artificial lizard skin pattern leather. What do you think :cool:

Just saw Mcgrady wearing the black colorway of the T mac 5 during their second win over the dallas mavericks. Wow it looks good on T mac, specially when his game is really clicking. Hope they reach the finals.

Well X box, the only AJ 4 that I saw is the retro grey. The last time I check at payless nike depot over at shaw blvd. There was still one size 13. As for the other colorway, I did read somewhere at nike talk that they were going to retp the AJ 4 again sometime the third quarter of this year. But as of the moment I did get the Jordan big Fund, which got its inspiration from the AJ 4. What do you think?

Well doc, if you are referring to the AJ 13 carolina white colorway. Its already available. I saw it at Nike Park SM Manila just last week. Its going to dissapear very fast Im sure of that, just like the Lebron2 low lazer cut edition. How do you l;ike it.

Hmmm... Looks good but I think it looks a bit like the combibation of the Air Jordan 6 for the uooer ancle support and rear pull tab, as for the midfoot anti inversion straps they must have gotten it from Air jordan 8. Speaking of Jordans, I just saw the new carolina colorway of the 13, gande talaga. Saw Richard Hamilton wearing it in one of their game.

Well the sale ended last saturday. There were quite a few items on sale at 50% off too like the lebron 2 white / blue colorway( size 14 and above). My friend got the VC 4 white/ blk /red colorway at 30% off(These had sizez ranging from 9 to 12). The event was opened to a few people at first, mostly those working at the Rufino tower. Then by word of mouth I guess it just spread. I only found out about it thru text. I got myself a Nike Impax trainer at 50% off too. Just lucky I guess because there was another guy waiting for me to put the shoe back into the shelves...hehe, sorry early bird gets the shoes.

Great shoe for balling Xbox boy. But isn't it a bit expensive at 4,000 even for cash and carry. I saw those shoes selling for 2,500 way back in 1994, but hey I know how it feel being a shoe head myself. It doesn't matter how much it cost as long as you look and feel good in them right. Just last saturday I saw a guy who bought the adidas 1 ( running shoe with a microchip and mechanism to control heel cushioning) at gateway mall adidas shop for almost 15,000 pesos. Wow...Oh well I guess some lucky guys are going to be able to get their feet into those..hehe. Very exclusive too because only 50 pairs in the whole Philippines. Anyway back to balling shoes , Nike Philippines had a sale last weekend at Rufino tower in Makati. Saw the shoe you like selling for 30 % off. I think its called the Air Max Operate, but they only had that in the all white with black color way.

Here is a another collection of mine. Been looking for it for a long time but finally found one. Most of the Nike parks were sold out. Great for balling specially for the guards.
