Just bought an Asus Eee Pc 1000H netbook. I replaced my old Asus Eee PC 4G. So far been very satisfied with specially the upgrade of 10" screen, 160GB HDD, & 1 Gb memory also windows XP. Linux OS on the plder version is still faster when internet surfing but nothing beats windows when it comes to application. Tried watching 720P HD file on it & it wok smoothly. There was some juddering when I tried 1080P file though. Really a useful tool when you are always on the move.

Samsung D880 for sun sim & Poldt LL+ sim , Nokia N92 for my smart sim , para sa mytv olypic telecast that I can watch during my spare time when I'm outside.

The last time I checked it was around 26 thousand. But a friend of mine got it for only 22 thousand. Don't know if she got it here or maybe out side of the country. Very cool phone , nice sounds & speaker.

Just saw the SE W960 on display in the mall and it looked gorgeous! I'm contemplating on selling my P1i for this. Does any one know how much it costs?

Yeah It's a cool laptop, but I still haven't installed windows in mine yet. Still have the default linux OS. Works great so far, surf the internet with ease. Was using it at burger king the other day since they have free wifi now. Had a lot of people looking my way, not because I had the most powerful laptop, but because I had the smallest one. They thought it was a dvd player.. haha. The girls loved it. Very handy also if you want to do some quick work done with its free open office application, its like linux version of word & exel. its a real bargain if you are going to compare it to a nokia E90, since it has a bigger keyboard & larger screen. But of course an E90 is still an E90 ..hehe . But the asus eee pc is a great second computer if you are the kind of person who is always on the go & doesn't want to lag around such a bulky thing like a 2 kg laptop.

I have the tx1120us and have not had any problems with it. The main question is if you really need a tablet PC. If you're considering the DV2220, you probably don't need the tablet features so the DV2220 may be the way to go.

Thanks for the info. Parang ang ganda lang kasi ng tablet at touchscreen features noon. Also the size and weight is just right for carrying around for work presentation. A bit pricy lang nga, maybe I should wait a while longer for the price of the technology to drop or wait for the intel version to come out. :thumbsupsmiley: Thanks again.

Hey guys what do you think about the HP Pavillion TX 1005AU tablet PC. Ok ba yung AMD Turion 64 x 2 CPU niya? I really liked its size and features although there is still the presario DV2220 that is much bigger and intel processor for the same price. Thanks in advance for any reolt. :cool:

No problem pre, just happy to see that there are others like me who loves collecting sneakers. Basketball in particular. Yeah I have the same routine when using and keeping my shoes. Sad to say I dont buy as often as before. As you can see on my aviatar , there is something more precious now than my collection..hehe. But if you back read some of the post. hey dude! Update kita pag nakahirit pa ako sa tita ko sa states ng isa pang AJ 14 na black(Last shot). Di retro pre kasi iba na ang materials nung retro sa original na labas ng 14 nung 1998. Ayos ba? Yung white na pinost ko di retro yun Ayos nga nakascore pinsan ko dun sa mga limited editions at rare ng AJ 14 Konti kasi production nun dati lalo na yung mga 1998 versions. Balitaan mo naman ako pag may nakita kang AJ 4 na White/Green Colorway Yung Retro ala ako mahanap eh.

Nice collection cashoverride17, sorry to hear that you lost your jordan 14, had one of those way back to in 1998, but sold it to my friend for only 3,000. It was a bit too small for my feet. I wear a size 12 and the shoe I had was only 11. But if you are looking for the limited white/ green version. They are on sale now at club 650 over at lybis " why pay more shop" less 30% discount i think. Saw it when i went to get one of the Lebron 2 low that was on sale for 50% off, I got this for 3,150. Also available was the AJ 13 low , all white and wht/ red collorway. A bit more expensive at 3,800+ . So drop y if you have the time, you might see something you like.

You got a nice one there derrick 28, love the wheat colorway. Was actually going to get one myself but they dont have my size any more. Well as for me , we almost had the same experience last week. I was at the babyland store over at shaw blvd with the wife to look for somethings for our new babay. There was the nike depot just beside it. I went there a couple of times already but all the time they might have the particular shoe I want but either dont have my size or the discount is too small :thumbsdownsmiley: .Needlss to say I wasn't expecting anything. Just wanted to have a look thats all. They had this shelves right in the middle of the shop where the discount was about 70 to 80%, I ask the clerk whats the difference with these stocks and the one that they are selling for only 30 to 50% less. He said they are considered grade B ( now I thought these were fakes ) but he explained that grade B actually means that they are the shoes displayed on the shelves of department store thats why most of the time they get dirty. These were also broken sizes so it means that its usually the last pair. Most display models are size 8 or 9 and never bigger so as not to take up so much space on the shelves, so it was really a surprise for me to see one that was in size 12. Now this is what got really crazy . There was also the same shoe on the other display which was only mark 50% off. From my observation there was no difference in the built quality and the condition of both shoe except that one was priced 4000+ and the other 2000+. I even wore both shoe just to check if the zoom air cushioning was still ok and it was. Now this [articular model was design for carmelo by the jordan brand and I like it better than the jordan version maybe because it was more conservative in design. I think you know what I mean when you see the jordan 18 right. Well I guess good things really happens to those who waits . Heres the jordan 18.5 which I only got for 2,698. Actual retail price was 8,995. :thumbsupsmiley:

Ghetto gospel I don't really have a secret on how to find shoes, back in college I use to ask my cousin who lives in the states to go find me some. I even ask my friend who use to work in Taiwan to go get me a pair of jordan III ( white/ red/ grey cement) when they were very hard to find here . But nowadays, I just buy them where ever I see them . Either here or when I'm on a trip else where like Singapore or Hong Kong or even one time on a trip to Thailand. I wear a size 12 so its a bit hard to find I actually go for the shoes that fits my feet right when I play on them on the court. It's a bonus if the shoes looks good also with a pair of jeans. :thumbsupsmiley:

Hi ghetto gospel, welcome to the club, I collect basketball shoes, most of them Jordans, I use to have the 3 way back in college , used them until the soles came off..haha( di pa ako maingat noon eh) I also have the 5( white silver), 12( white red),Jordan big fund and my latest is the 20 ( gold white). As for me shoes are meant to be worn on court. Its the only time you get notice. Hirap din naman pag lagi ka nasa bench..hehe. Yup they do get worn out easily when in games . Specially when they get stepped on or smudge, but thats how it is. Now the more reasons to get new ones right. :cool: Peace to all.

If you are interested , there are some at nike park edsa central mall and a size 12( last pair) at sports haven club 650 at libis. :boo: Going for about 3,200 +. My contact at edsa central said that they might moving out soon because of slox sale over at that area.

Yan yung sinasabi ko. Kasi nagkamali yung nike park sa edsa central sa pricing. Sa ibang Nike park 30% off lang.  Kahit sa nike park outlet store sa sta rosa 30% off lng.

 

Yan yung color na sinabi. Yung design nya parang Sa tiger. pero maganda pa rin yan sa jeans basta i-mamatch lang sa color ng shirt.

 

Bwenas ha nabili mo ng 60%off.

 

Ako inaantay ko yung 2k5 na black mag 50%off kso malabo ata yun. Pag maganda yung design ng nike, usually mababa lng ang discount na binibigay nila.

Yup I was also eyeing the black 2k5, unfortunately the bigger sizes are already sold out, even during regular pricing. Nike Philippines only import a limited number of shoes & they don't reorder the same style once a particular size is sold out, players from the proffesional league & schools usually have first priority so only a few sizes are left to the outlets :thumbsdownsmiley: the zoom kobe 1 all star edition did come out though, but still very expensive. Around 7,700 plus I think.

There was also the red color one. The available sizes I think was 9, 10.5 ,11 and 13. very limited. I was suppose to get another pair for my friend when I told him about it. Unfortunately the price went up to 6000 plus . the only explenation I got from the shop attendant was that some of the other Nike dealers called up nike Philippine to complain why nike park droppeds the price so early. I dont know about that since the new air jordan 21 already came out. But wait a couple of weeks more , they might go back to 60% again once they see that no one is interested. :boo:

Sa nike park sabi nung tumawag sa akin na taga nike. Tawagan nyo na lng kasi minsan magulo pricing nila dun. May day na 3598 tpos bigla magiging 6thou something.

Yup got these from Nike park Edsa central last monday for 60 % off. Then the following day the discount went down to 30% only . Just got lucky I guess, was really going for the air double figure low ( shoe of tony parker) but after trying on the Jordan 20, it felt really good on my feet. Felt even better than the 2k5, the I.P.S cushioning of the Jordan 20 might not be as responsive as the zoom air of the 2k5 but they wont bottom out that easily. Might be a shoe for light centers or forwards. :thumbsupsmiley:

Nice collection Derrick 28, wish that most size 12 are on sale. Usually kasi kalaban ko mga players that buy out most of the bid size but from time to time nakakatyamba rin ako. Here are just some of my recent collection. Some of them I haven't worn on the court yet.

Original price I think was almost 7,000. Some friends of mine was able to purchase it. Sayang most of the bigger sizes are already sold out, the last time I check only size 9 and below are available. Anyone here playing ball with running shoes? first time I tried it mas comfortable sa running game kaso masakit ang shin ko after the game maybe beacuase of the lack of support. Ive also seen some PBA guards wearing running shoes in their games like paolo mendoza.

 

about the basketball shoe with the chip, pano yun di ba nalolobat yun tsaka di pwede labhan or mabasa kasi may electronic components?

 

and any Info if shaq is still a reebok endorser? kasi he still wears shoes eith the saq logo when he is still a known reebok endorser. kasi ngayon kahit sa reebok web site eh wala si shaq doon altough evry season is may bago syang kicks di nga lang pinopromote.

Shaq is not a reebok endorser for a long time now. The shoes he is wearing now is made by the starter brand( he use to co owned another brand called "dunk"). It usually cost around 50 dollars. I have heard from friends who wears them that although it is a good price for a basketball shoe. It is no where near the comfort feel of those made by the top three brand, liker nike , reebok and adidas. It just so happens that the logo use for his brand of shoe which is called "shaq", is very similar to the one that reebok used , but with some slight differences. There was also a comment in Nike talk that only shaq can wear his kind of shoe because the shoe is so damn stiff and heavy. Any way I havent wore them since they are not available here( not that I know of).
