I'd still prefer self made. Those are the pioneers. If you were just the 2nd generation or the kids who inherited the wealth then there's no challenge because the hard part was already done... establishing a business, making a profit. In short, may capital ka nang malaki to expand. Kaya iba parin ang 1st generation old school start from scratch. That's why I don't listen to my wealthy friends, I listen to their parents or grandparents who started it all. As far as noodles is concerned, none can match the firmess or Al Denteness (is there such a word ) of Ajisen's noodles.

Another hidden gem is their Beef Teppanyaki (medium rare please) ...... one of the better ones I've tried.

I have tried both the buffet and ala carte here ....... thumbs down for me. (and my parents and aunties are complaining that even the coffee is not hot enough)

 

At the very least, we should just save up a little more and dine in some of the better buffet places in the metropolis. (Dads World Buffet comes to mind)

At least, Lucky Chinatown is just steps away.

Stayed here and ended up going there instead of eating in.
