  1. Men don't know what they want. If they do, then they wouldn't be cheaters and liars. Men just want what's in between your legs. You give them that and they're gone. They will tell you what you want to hear. Anything.

Sorry ladies, but I'm afraid she's right!

Nice photos. They remind me of my holiday in Davao about four years ago. I went to Samal Island and stayed at Pearl Farm and Paradise Island.

Pearl Farm is just beautiful. So relaxing, so quiet and above all classy. Great place to take a lady.

But Paradise had its own vibe too - it was busier, more lively and well, 'fun'. If I was going with a group of guys, I would probably choose Paradise.

As for Davao City, can't really remember where I stayed (Apo View, I think). But I do remember two great eating places: Cynthia's Lechon House and Jack's Ridge.

Jack's Ridge was out of this world. Some of the best food I have EVER tasted.

Especially the panga tuna jaw. Oh man...I wish I was there now...

  3. to each his or her own preference. Older men are no different than younger men, jerks, masturbators, whatnot.

    Hmm I (respectfully) disagree!

I think older men know how to handle women - especially younger women - better.

We are more patient and less jealous. We know when to give a woman her space and when to be attentive.

Plus we're simply more experienced - in life, in everything. It takes time to turn a brash young kid into a gentleman!

Anyway, that's what my girlfriend says (she's 13 years younger than me). She says she would never have imagined the idea before we finally started dating,

but that now she's well and truly converted...well, I guess time will tell!

  4. Yes, I do have a copy of Urban Hymns myself - on cassette (yeah that was that long ago!!!)

My favourite track (aside from "Bittersweet Symphony") would be "The Rolling People"

Cassettes...lol, I hear you bro. I'm currently studying with a whole year of twenty somethings, none of whom will ever know the pleasure and pain of that most glorious invention!

The dreaded sound as your stereo chews up your favorite tape..or the delicate re-spooling op with a pencil or fingertip! Kids these days...

Oh yeah, and Rolling People is a great tune. Listen to it every other morning on my way into central...

There's no cost in using common sense.

  6. Hi guys

This is my first post here, hope I'm welcome!

How did I get here? Well, I was feeling cold, wet and miserable in London and missing my favorite party town.

So I typed 'Cool Manila' into Google in a random act of genius, and this is where it took me...so far, so good!

Look forward to sticking around and making some new friends...

    ;)
