  1. ANGEL's KITCHEN, located along connecticut in greenhills.

THE FOOD IS JUST GREAT HERE. SUPERB! ULTIMO DELICIOSO!

Ambiance is good, especially if you are seated in the couch. Price is ... well... a bit pricey i think. Pero kasi matakaw ako, so i try to order everything so i can just taste everything. But whenever I visit here, I end up choking 2000 pesos, and that includes 2 adults and 2 kids.

So enough said, let the pictures speak for themselves.

SALMON with a hint of WASABI in a bed of Mashed Potato. Now we food critics here like our mashed potatoes that are REAL, and not coming from the box. The inclusion of Wasabi in between the salmon was a fantastic idea. Kudos to the chef!

Next in line, is the MONGGO SOUP. Man, this i would claim... the best monggo soup i have ever tasted. I just super loooove their monggo soup. The vegetables in the monggo soup are so crunchy and fresh pa (hindi katulad ng iba, lutaytay na). I always make it a point to bring one home for me to savor for breakfast.

FRENCH BEANS in XO Sauce... love this dish... so simple yet it fires the palate.

and the finale, MANGO CREAM PIE --- now, let me tell you this... im not a dessert person. My usual dessert is a cup of good tea. And i don't have a sweet tooth. But I make an exception with this pie. I don't leave anything behind , even the crust. That's how good it is.

    Bon Appétit!

  2. TAO YUAN RESTAURANT located along Mabini Street.

Ambiance is not that good, but the food is really great.

  3. Resume shouldn't go beyond 2 pages. Just put there what is necessary.

First jobs are not about salaries. They are about gaining experience for the field you are really interested in. Go for that big company that can provide you with great exposure and relevant functions.

For interviews, be confident and answer truthfully. And for heaven's sake, close your cellphone while being interviewed.

  4. Owning an IPAD is a lifestyle. If you start enumerating its functions vis-a-vis the netbooks, laptops, ipods, then you won't ever buy an IPAD.

I remember the first time I got an IPAD. It was a gift from my mom for my birthday. I didn't open it for 2 weeks. I reckon that I don't really need another gadget. I have macbook, iphone , so what more do i need? But when I opened my IPAD, I can never imagine my life without having an IPAD. Im stingy. I don't like spending. But if I lose my IPAD, I will not think twice about buying its replacement.

So how does my IPAD fit into my life?

    1) When i wake up in the morning, I quickly check the list of stocks I have and its current prices and my net profit / net position. In one glance , I can see what is net lose/profit. I don't need to open my laptop and open the website and see the current prices of stocks.

    2) In one click, I see the major news for the day , from Inquirer, to CNN, Bloomberg, etc.

    3) I log in to my YM and see who i need to talk online.

    4) As I take a bath, I open the Ipod function and play my music list.

    5) When I have free time, I play my favorite games in the car or the restaurant.

    6) I also read the latest books using my IPAD.

    7) In one click, I can check my mails in various site like gmail, yahoo, etc. IT will download all mails in one platform. I don't have to open gmail.com. or yahoo.com to open my mail. It will just automatically download the mails in one press of a button.

    8) When I travel, I bring my IPAD everywhere. Its not as heavy as a laptop and i can just put it inside my handbag.

    9) I can even make FREE CAlls via the application VIBER. As long as you are on WIFI and your friend is also on WIFI , you can talk each other for free. This is also applicable to IPhones.

The IPAD is different for everyone. When you open the ITUNES, you can download applications that will suit your lifestyle, your interests and your needs.

  5. Did Karatedo for 4 years while in college... started Muay Thai now.

Iba ang kicks and mas combative ang Muay Thai.

  6. Cheaper ang Disney Hollywood Hotel than Disneyland Hotel.

Hollywood hotel , as the name suggests, has the hollywood theme. Disneyland Hotel has the Victorian theme, so the hotel itself is shaped like a castle.

Heard the rooms at Disneyland Hotel are better than Hollywood.

Aside from that, I don't know what is the difference.

Maybe some MTC members who have stayed in Hollywood hotel can give feedback on the hotel.

  7. I love that drink too ..... it's called Cool as Cucumber. (they also have an alcoholic version for that)

that same drink is also available in Circio

Hmm... I see you have good taste. I thought I would never find a person who likes this cucumber drink the way I do. So where is Circio? I hope they charge the cucumber drink less than what Romulo is charging. And what is the name of the alcoholic version of it. Thanks.

  8. Johnny Rockets --- burger is good but too pricey, but if your day is lonely , the 60's and 70's music can lift you up.

Alfredo's == good dependable steak. I always come back here.

Mario's - another classic. Best caesar salad in the metropolis.

Kozui Green Tea - best beverage. best iced tea (Very Berry Iced tea) and Roasted Green Tea Latte. Free WIFI. and the chicken wrap is just a must! and also the fried balls , i forgot the name. I always hang out here.

Chili's - best margarita along tomas morato area. and of course the buffalo chicken salad. and the Free WIFI.

Itallianis - i just order the cheapest pasta here which i think is the best tasting pasta in the restaurant. the Angel Hair Pomodoro.

Romulo's Cafe - for that filipino food with a twist. I super love their cucumber drink.

  9. I was persuaded to attend John Calub's seminar. Since libre ng "volunteer : nya, and dyahe sa naglibre, I attended.

But I found the seminar's message to be too simple and lots of drama and fireworks. But as an audience, i tend to really focus on your message, your theme, your content, not the eloquence of words or how good you deliver your speech.

And sobra akong turn off na ang dami pa palang seminar to attend to learn the "secret" or the key to success... so parang obvious sa akin na money making scheme nga. Nope, not for me. But good for Calub on finding the way to make money.

  10. Just came from HK Disneyland. Stayed at Disneyland Hotel and it was superb! Panalo talaga sa bata ang Disneyland hotel with the maze garden and the disney princesses loitering around the lobby. And the many activities that the hotel offers. May WIFI pa sa lobby, but if you stay near the door of your room, kahit sa loob ng room may WIFI ka masasagap.

The breakfast is the best. So worth it. To see your child so so happy upon seeing the mickey mouse gang going around the restaurant. Not to mention the waffles that are shaped like the head of mickey mouse. Cheaper pala to buy the breakfast coupon in the reception area when you check in, rather than walk in ka lang sa breakfast resto nila.

And of course, I don't need to mention the Disneyland park itself. Obviously , talagang talo ang HK Disney kaysa sa U.S. coz maliit lang sya and dami from mainland china. But at least, mas affordable sya and wala ka na problem sa Visa.

    Airfare: $250 average

    Room: HK$2600 per night

Breakfast buffet: HK$218 (ata) per adult and HK $170 (ata) per child

Park : HK$398 (2 day pass for adults), HK$250 (2 day pass for kids)

MEals at the Park : HK$50 per meal per person

  11. Love is a double-edged sword. It can make you so so happy that you feel like you are in heaven. And it can equally hurt you as deeply as you love that it's so hard to find yourself again. Ang hirap hirap bumangon when you break up with someone you really gave your heart to.

Moral lesson of the story: Just be friends and keep things in moderation.

  12. Lonely.

Suddenly you find yourself doing things alone again.

  13. I'm almost always alone after work. So in the end, I realize better to be alone with my margarita, with a book or surfing lang with my laptop.

I hang out at Chili's along Tomas Morato. QC area kasi ako. And they have excellent Margarita.

I don't feel that awkward naman being alone. I guess coz tagal ko na ginagawa.
