  1. I was fortunate enough to have watched the game live. Ang saya-saya! Kahit umulan when the game started. Angel and Michelle madrigal were there. Very pretty!

Kahit sakit sa bulsa yung price ng ticket, i felt it was worth it, with a 4-0 score. Sarap sana pumunta ng Kuwait. Pero mas masarap pumunta ng Brazil sa 2014!

Im attaching picture ng Rizal Stadium during Azkal game with Sri lanka last sunday.

  2. HANDLEBAR - along Polaris St. in Makati.

May I just say how great their NACHOS are... I wish I took a picture, but I forgot to do it. It looks like any other nachos but when i tasted it, i couldn't stop munching on it. For one, their nacho chips were served warm. I cannot remember the last time I had nachos that were served warm. Second, the chips itself are not the thick ones sold in the market. The thickness of the chips are just right so when you munch on it , you can actually taste the toppings , rather than just the heavy flavor of the chips. The minced beef are generously sprinkled on the chips , hindi yung parang binilang sa kitchen yung beef. There were olives, cheese sauce and jalapeno, i think (sorry, i went there at midnight so I can't see things as clearly). But what made the nachos perfect is that it has a hint of spice in it. It was made mild spicy but not too much that it would scare those that do not like spicy food. Overall, the combination of this serving is just perfect, not one ingredient overpowers the others, just blends pretty well. Then I downed this all with their Sangria, which I have to mention , is also mixed well. Most bars make sangria with a cheap red wine as base. But this is not the case for handlebar. As a frequent drinker of Sangria, I often only get to taste good Sangria from Spanish restaurants. But I was pleasantly surprise that handlebar didn't shrink from delivering a good Sangria.

I wanted to wait and get a picture sana before posting for FR of this, but this has been on mind even after 4 days. I just have to go back, right? rolleyes.gif

  3. i really hate the question "why do you love me?". how do u answer a question like that? lol.

i understand your frustration. it's almost like a philosophical question. But I think girls just like to hear the evolution of your love for them. It makes them feel secure. And for some reason, girls like to spend so much conversation time on love, love, love.

  4. Im Pro Divorce.

In my opinion, Catholic Church is grasping at whatever hold they have on the Filipino people that's why they are fighting legalizing divorce in this country.

I just think separation among married couples are everywhere. It's happening already. Now, legalizing divorce will ensure that responsibilities of the separated couples are aligned and documented. Kids are better taken cared of because the role of each parent is spelled out and there is no room for confusion.

  5. Zuni is one of my favorite destination in Greenbelt 5. I sooo love their salads, specially the Zuni Salad is a meal by itself. It has portobello mushrooms and steak and some greens drizzled with their own sauce.

For late afternoon, I prefer to hang out at Damaso, and I always order "Tubig ni Maria Clara" . The drink is ginger-based and totally refreshing.

    ME: ( silence)

Man: What do you think?

    ME: hmmm... NO?

I hate to lie so please don't tempt me to lie.

    2. Man: Did you cum?

    Me: yes

Man: How many times did you cum?

    Me: I don't count.

Why should I count my cum? Are we in class? When I go to bed with a man, it's all feelings for me. No rational thought present. This is the time i rest my brain and that includes counting.

    3. Man: I love you.

    Me: That's nice.

    Man: Do you love me?

Me: Hmmm..... no? Bakit mahal mo ba ako?

Man: kasi kasama yun sa foreplay eh.

Me: Ngyeh! Ganun ba yun? Hwag na. heheheh!

I miss those times that making love is just all about touching, hugging and kissing and feeling ... and no technicalities involved. Just letting go...

  7. There are days when you are stressed out from work and you just want to splurge on your dinner.

In those days, I usually go to Summer Palace , the chinese restaurant of Edsa Shangrila hotel.

The flowery smell that greets me in the lobby of the hotel is enough to calm me down. But when I enter Summer Palace, and I hear the old chinese songs played in the background, I sit back and relax and look forward to dining in style. :-)

So, I'd like to share with you my old favorites.

    Home-made Tofu topped with Seaweed

This is one of my favorite dish in the whole world. Very simply done, and yet so unforgettable.

    Watercress Soup

When this is not in the menu, I always ask the Chef to do one for me. I believe this is cooked - double boiled style, so it takes them longer to prepare this soup. The watercress soup used a chicken soup base and if im not mistaken there is plum in the soup as well.

    Crispy noodles with seafood

    Hot Prawn Salad

An old favorite... I haven't met anyone who didn't like the hot Prawn salad of summer palace. This is a must! Sorry, I kinda ate everything before I remembered to take a picture of it.

  8. Hi, I hope somebody can help me on this matter.

A client is paying via her condo unit at Torre Venezia located in Timog, Q.C. Problem is the title is not yet with her. IS it safe to have a deed of sale when the title is not yet in her hands? Second, Torre Venezia has been there for some time, maybe around 6 years or so... and still no title transferred to the unit owners.

I would appreciate your advice and recommendations.

    Thank you.

  9. Real mean men who are intense and intimidating on the outside, but softie and gentle and kind when he is dealing with me.

A guy who has an IQ of at least 140 but who carries a mean gun at his back or knows martial arts.

A guy who is comfortable with himself and who can laugh at his own mistakes.

A guy who is not afraid what others will think about him.

And a guy who does not look at other sexy and pretty women when he is with me.

That night binanatan ko sya opkors with condom  tapos set kami ng another session. Unforgetable sakanya ang ara na un. Uminom ako ng 2 viagra before 1st round then ung isa after 3round. uminom din ako ng redhorse saka balot at 2 corgivit-e. Nunung umuwi kami she even text me, "thankyou for one hell of a night" napangisi na lang ako. 1week she keep on texting me and lots of miscalls. One time nagtext sya sakin "Its been 2months but i cant move on, you played me so well, i still feel what you did to my body and the worst im dying to have it for one more time" nde ako nagreply bagkos nag abroad ako. nung umuwi ako pumunta ako sa kanila hindi para bisitahin sya, kundi magyabang  hinayang na hinayang parents nya sa naging relasyon namin. nakita daw nila sa FB ung mga pics ng naging gf ko may lebanese at british. Hindi daw ako ganun dati. Sabi i change because i need too.

Bravo!!! Galing mo ah! Astig! Well I hope you are now well recovered with your lebanese and british gf's. tongue.gif

As for me, Im praying not to see my ex with someone new.

  11. Mickey's along Jupiter Street in Makati

There are days when you just want to have freshly grilled sausages and a good beer. That's the time I go to Mickey's. They have good selection of beers and wines, and a longer list of sausages and meats. The restaurant has a deli where you can purchase cold cuts, sausages and cheese.

Their specialty are the nuremburg sausages that are freshly grilled and are served with sauerkraut and/or warm potato salad.

(they are normally served with 6 pieces.. I ate most of it before I remembered to take its picture.. oops)

Their rendition of pizza is a long flat ciabatta bread with your choice of toppings.

    post-283566-0-51202900-1306675605.jpg

The mushroom soup was made with real mushrooms , although it's salty and pricey (290 pesos)

    post-283566-0-67651600-1306675704.jpg

And the nuremburg sandwich is another great plus to this resto.

  12. KOZUI GREEN TEA - located along tomas morato

It's a small cafe that offers simple yet tastefully done dishes. I said simple coz their dishes have very subtle taste , nothing salty in this cafe, and not much into oily food. Their rice dishes are very very limited, as well as sandwiches. But what they lack in quantity they compensate with the way their dishes are done. Example, Chicken sandwich is made with apples, lettuce, tomatoes and a dressing that seems to be homemade.

They offer a long list of beverages and they don't do this using quick-fix powders. For the hot beverage, my favorite is ROASTED GREEN TEA LATTE. What I love about this beverage is the aroma of "roastedness" in drinking this beverage and they sweeten this drink with caramel syrup. They made it so good that the next time I drank green tea latte from Starbucks I have to throw it away coz I cannot take the taste anymore. When it's hot like now, I opt for the VERY BERRY ICED TEA. It's flavor is like of the berries minus the tanginess. A real summer treat.

For appetizers, I go for KOROKO (or is it KOROKE?) Its filled with Broccoli if im not mistaken and cream cheese. They have another type of ball with octupus and other seafood in it with bonito flakes pa ata.

But this ball is a winner to kids and adults alike.

    post-283566-0-74124900-1306036628.jpg

When I come here hungry, I always order DANDON, their version of Bibimbap , the signature dish of Korea. Put some chili paste to add some flavor to this dish.

    post-283566-0-33588800-1306036761.jpg

And aside from teas, they are known for their desserts namely Amitsu, shaved ice, green tea ice cream and lots of toppings. Unfortunately, Im not into desserts so I ordered the less expensive Green Tea Ice Cream.

    post-283566-0-69874100-1306036806.jpg

They offer soup as well.... but they only have one soup and it's spinach soup. This is good too. made with real spinach and vermicelli and lots of chopped seafood in it.

As is obvious in my post, Im always in this place. In fact, Im here everyday. laugh.gif Wow, I just realized that now. Probably because they also offer good airconditioning, good ambiance and FREE WIFI.

this is a self-service cafe by the way.

  13. Simple lang ang tanong ko.

If somebody (who owes our company) is selling us their condo in exchange of their loan, who shoulders the transfer tax, doc stamps, notarial fee and registration fee? Magkano ba mga yun?

    Thank you.

  14. Lugang Cafe - along Connecticut St. in Greenhills

There are some days when we just want to relax our palate with simple vegetarian dishes. Now, Lugang's bamboo pith and mix mushroom soups didn't fail in satisfying me with its earthy aroma. It made me think the monks at chinese temples are indeed wise in observing a vegetarian diet , if this is the type of food they consume daily.

This Minced meat noodles in peanut sauce was served a bit dry. So I took the liberty of adding a bit of my clear soup to this noodles just enough to make it NOT DRY. Having done this, I mixed the whole thing, and my.... this dish was SUPERB! just perfect... so perfect! The peanut sauce is just so flavorful, so addictive. yum!

And of course, we cannot just miss out eating the Xiao Long Bao. It's not the best there is, but it's good enough.

  15. Among my FR , this is the closest to my heart coz I grew up eating in this place.

QUICK SNACK - along Carvajal St. along Nueva St (or Yuchengco St )

Sate Beef Guisado - They are really famous for their Sate Beef Bihon or Mami Guisado. I first ate this when i was 9 years old, and until now, nobody can even come close to their rendition of Sate Beef Guisado. It's a bit spicy, lots of kangkong and served well when hot. Don't try to take out this dish coz it won't be the same.

    post-283566-0-25041200-1305790616.jpg

    Bola bola Soup

    post-283566-0-46003400-1305790650.jpg

Other dishes they are famous for is Fried Lumpia, Oyster Cake, Kuchay-ah.

I wish I can add more, but I was only dining alone so I can only eat so much food.

  16. The REAL THING - along Timog in Il Terrazas

The place is a tribute to Coke and its long history. Interesting place to visit but I wouldn't visit this again if I have the choice. What they offer uniquely are dishes marinated in soda or orange juice or mango. But I was not impressed with their "creation". So I don't think I'll be visiting their diner soon.

It's owned by the harpist Noelle Cassandra and her husband.

    the restaurant

    Spinach soup - quite good

    post-283566-0-89355200-1305536344.jpg

Fish with mango sauce - if you are hungry , this is just fine.

    post-283566-0-81865300-1305536359.jpg

Virgin Mojito - just plain sprite and orange juice, nothing fabulous

    post-283566-0-85709100-1305536374.jpg

  17. I hope not to offend anyone. But in my honest opinion, I think Filipino students are labeled as "tamad" coz i think most Filipino families accept mediocrity. I noticed this when i mingled with my husband's relatives. They would give praise to children having grades of 80++ or 90++ , or even getting a third honor. I was at first baffled. So when did grades of 80++ deemed high??? And they were so proud of their children showing me the test scores. Again, i couldn't say anything.

Media is also not helping in uplifting the values of our students. Movies and TV shows always feature love stories, young romance, barkada, etc.

I had a chance to have Indian classmates and Chinese classmates (chinese from mainland china). On the first day of class, they finished reading the whole book. and It was not a soft subject, it was a Fixed income Investment class. Hard core yun. So the entire first day was spent on their asking questions to clarify what they read. Amazing, isn't it.? Kelan pa nangyari ito sa school natin, kung saan binasa na ng students lahat ng nasa libro even before the start of the class.

  18. HANDLE BAR - located along Polaris St. in Makati

Handle Bar as the name suggests is a bikers' bar. But i believe this bar would also be enjoyed by non bikers too like myself. Upon entering the place, it reminded me of the pubs in England. No surprise there because its clientele are mostly expats. They have 2 billiard tables. 4 or 5 flat TV tuned in to sports channel. There's a band too.

For that night, i ordered Porterhouse 12 oz. their steak is grilled. It may not be the best steak i've ever tasted but I won't mind eating it again. they give generous sidings as you can see from the picture.

So if you enjoy watching sports, playing the billard or just chilling out , this is the place to be.

  19. I had dinner at SENTOSA last night. It's located along Tomas Morato , tapat ng Mc Donalds. It used to be Flavors of China.

    Pad Thai - 240

The serving is BIG, WAY BIG. like good for 4 pax. IT's not like the Pad Thai you eat at the streets of Bangkok, but it's good enough.

    post-245067-0-96354800-1305181968.jpg

Pumpkin Soup - 200++ (sorry i forgot the exact price)

Again, the serving is for around 4 -5 persons. But yummy though. May bits of seafood in their pumpkin soup.

  20. The interest rate of ayala homestarter bond is compounded

For 3 years... Not the previous post of mine that are not compounded...this kind of bonds are not bad considering 5k as a starter....

Not a bad investment, if you plan to buy an ayala land. But if not, 4% is still pretty low compared to putting your money in stock market.

I have actually been thinking about your post for some time. I saw ANVAYA COVE in Morong, Bataan and I so love it there. The beach is just so pristine. But it's so expensive. I wonder if it's a wise buy. AFraid it might turn out like Pico de Loro or other condos near beaches na nag deteriorate over time.
