  1. Yup! As I previously mentioned there's no one size fits all. Few notes though, being happy on a method/strategy in the markets, doesn't always equates to making money (specially on risky assets like the markets). If it does, everyone should be making money. Re: "it's always best to invest only as much as you're willing to lose" Yeah that can help. But there are just many issues that will arise overtime. If one doesn't have the right skills I mentioned above.
  2. Adding some information. The focus should be, on where's the money flowing and which direction it is going. Just to be clear, if anyone is a long trader the focus is on the stock/etf that is going up. And if anyone is betting short, should focus on the assets going down in prices. Same reason, why it is currently risk off in my POV at the moment in PSE. Since most names are badly hit and prices going down on majority of its risky assets. Why? People can only make money in the PSE when prices are going up. Shorting isn't available in here. And liquidity one may ask, what's the importance of it? Well, it's what pushes prices up or down. A risky assets/stock/etf or any, won't even move a bit without it. Or a move on which direction it wants to go will not be stable without it. Now, when it comes to the the market anyone is trading/investing. Do you want an environment for easy peso or hard penny. Your choice honestly.
  3. Taas ang kamay sa mga nagroundtrip sa PSEI? I guess, now you know why stop is needed. Btw, congratulations, to those who took their profits and still in a positive territory in terms of their portfolio performance. I am still invested in here, few positions only (remaining shares not yet stopped out). Market focus right now: None other than US and crypto markets. Like I told you guys, I like riding the waves! Cheers!
  4. In the financial markets, only your portfolio results can tell, how good you are in investing or may it be in trading. Are you net positive or negative? Nothing else!
  5. Deployed some funds earlier on $plus and $pnb. Then power hold on $mer, $mac, and $monde (TF names). Just trying to squeeze some juice on TF names until the trend breaks. Then positioning on some stronger names identified. Let's see if there would be a year end rally. What do you think is the weakest group or sector in PSE? For me, MINI or mining and oil names. Proof: Ask those who bought mining names, and oil names if their port move in the positive territory or if they made significant money on it. Pag ganyan yung stock picks. Kamot ulo nalang ano? hahaha.
  6. Bought starter position on 3 names. All bounce of support; Lets see how this will progress. dogeusd, trxusd, btcusd
  7. 3 elements of a scam or I may say, an investment put into waste. 1. Ignorance 2. Greed 3. Fast or quick money
  8. update: ict - de risk the trade. Partially sold, now its risk free. cnvrg - partial sell again (took profits last friday). mwc - no trades done. Plus - Partial sold (when Ma's got breached; took profits). Then sold all position last Thursday). Overall, not bad for a 150% plus gain; there's always a start and end in every trade. When I hold a position, it's great when its gapping up (it only means, there's a great opportunity to partially sell at strength or at the highs. But when it gaps down, and breaking support levels, I don't like it). P.S. Good luck holders!
  9. If a trader/investor does this for quite a period of time and he's consistently profitable. Really, the explosive gains that one attains, can easily be forgotten. What remains on the mind is the losses or if I may say, the lessons from that experienced.
  10. Yeah, madami talagang guru wanna be everywhere. For the reason that we may possibly know and we might not know. Hence, I have enumerated the must qualities of a good teacher or a good follow, to look for. That will set apart from great traders vs the "others". In reality, kaya lang naman gusto ng mga tao yung mga finofollow nila ay dahil sa reco. Mga tamad e. hahaha! Mindset nila rito, "uy, work smart". Which in reality, yung tao yung sumunod dun, di naman sila pinilit. Sila rin naman pumindot ng buy and sell button. Hahaha! ######### Trading requires a combination of skills. Your correct, having a good mindset/trading psychology is a part of it. Another is a verified trading system that works overtime (no matter how good is the trading system, it doesn't work each and every time). Hence, another trading skillset required "to be a good risk manager". Since if your system doesn't work everytime, you must know how to manage your risk on the down/up side. If you don't have this skillset for sure "ubos". Then, comes some factor like being optimistic, humility, undying discipline , patient (when to trade/when not to trade), resourceful, and diligent to do (market scans, analysis, trade plan, determination of theme of the market and etc). Lastly, experienced. Being exposed in each and every market cycles like bull/bear/sideways market really helps. For me, I recommend atleast 3-4 market cycles experienced. To summarize: Everyone wants to perform and earn huge money in the markets. But not everyone are willing to do what is necessary. This are some of the skills I can think of right now. But of course there are anything else. Here's what a 3 time USIC champ says; No other than David Ryan: https://youtu.be/1UGvxhi-OlI?si=vcWPRaQydYoA0MrG
  11. Update: Since I've shown my entries and exit point in here. Might as well, show the rest of the transactions made on the stock. Here you go: legends: up arrows - bought; down arrows - slice/sold (may it be partial position/ or i cut my recent add). 4 core stock holding of mine as of this writing: PLUS, ICT, CNVRG, and MBT. (Which I think the leaders of the market. I might be wrong on this though which is alright. OGK) Recent bought position today: $MWC @27.20. P.S. Ito lang yung waves na alam ko. Riding the waves! For any questions about my $plus trade, don't pm me. Just quote and reply
  12. nice one! you might have bought the stock from the period of April - June 2024. Good rally isn't it! I'm still holding my core position. Everything looks normal to me.
  13. This post, is again not for all: Only for those who want to have a great performance in the market. I can't recall if I shared this information already in the past. But in every aspect in life, there is a rule that I follow. It is, when I want to learn something, or probably get information that I need. I always try to learn from the best. Having a very simple mindset in mind, shared by the elders, "being with or learning with 5 wises persons in the room, could make you the 6th". Re: the latest youtubers, (jtrade, palaboy trader, money & chi and tito vlogs). All i can say is, they have potentials for a being a youtuber (madaldal e, using sweet and enticing words, a must naman sa gantong field). But in terms of highest form of standard in learning the markets, for me, "nahh". 😅 I didn't say this, just to mock the person/s involved btw. But if you really know how to filter the good from the bad investors/traders in the market. There are only two vital categories. 1. How they managed their risk. (proof of how they managed their losses) 2. Trading/investing results. (proof of profitability). And if you look carefully on the above mentioned names, how they are doing?? Any idea? Example: in this video of money &chi with Jtrades at 1:25:20 (timestamp); he mentioned that he will join the investacup, which is a barometer of a person's trading skills. Since this was a trading contest. I don't personally knew him, or have an idea if he officially joined the cup. But when looking at 2020/2021 investacup results; his name is not to be found. 😅 I attended the 2020 investacup panel discussions (invited by a trader friend who's a member of the top 10 that time). Even on 2021 investacup, his not on the list. In short, olats. He claims that he uses, elliot wave in his trading. (Pero ang nakita ko lang ginawa nya ay plinot yung line sa price, then nilagyan ng letter). 😅 Kawawa naman nauto neto. For comparison; try to watch Javi Medina's work/discussion applying elliot, and you will see the big difference. He's a fund manager who's using the same form of technique/strategy in the market that shows results. An elliot wave practitioner, investacup champion and a member of top ten in the following investacup, COL's FM, Founder of Open journal. If this isn't enough good results, for you. Check USIC current list (a real money trading competition in the US; where some of the great traders are known for) Here: his at 20,000 usd division; 4th place and contest is still ongoing. https://financial-competitions.com/ Other Elliot Wave Practitioner I know were, Roy lacsamana (Javi's Teacher), Juanis Barredo (Javi's Teacher), Jojo Gaston (BOH Teacher). P.S. I'm not an Elliot wave practitioner. Just stating facts and credible information. Again, quality learning is different from being entertained.
  14. Market outlook for 2nd half is already out (seen col financial and first metrosec; not sure with the others). It is already uploaded in youtube. When I have lots of time to burn. I do watch it, to see/learn or have an idea of the potential catalyst. Just do take note, where the meeting/s are held. Since, there will be some changes with its price and volume and so as the liquidity. So do your diligence to scan each and every stock. And not just blindly buy anything listed on their stock picks. Good luck!
