Just because they have a huge following, they are overrated? How are they overrated? No one really expects them to win the second round, and the odds makers reflect that. Still, is that any reason to hope against hope, for the sake of our country?

 

The attention the hype that we are now giving to azkals far exceeds their skill on the field (the pass, Abysmal defense lousy traps, attackers?), I'm just wondering ano na kaya ang gagawin natin if they are easily annihilating their opponents? Mass suicide?

Anyway all this hype will soon be over after today's game (sabi nyo nga nobody is expecting them to win eh). Football will just be a memory (sigh).. see you next qualifying season.

If you are griping that they have gained fame, do not blame the athletes. Blame the media which is hungry for the next big good looking hunk to hoist upon a pedestal and proclaim as royalty. arguably, the azkals are the best football team ever assembled to represent the country. so i think its only fair to recognize their talents in making the sport popular in this country.

from what i know, we are just rallying behind our country's team.

we want them to win over kuwait. we even want them to win the world cup, but we are not expecting that to happen for now. There is a difference between WANTING (them to win) and EXPECTING (them to win).

it always start with the personalities.

without the likes of larry bird, magic johnson, michael jordan, kobe bryant, lebron james, etc. the sport of baskteball will not be as popular as it is right now.

 

without the likes of muhammad ali, frazier, tyson, holyfield, pacquiao, boxing as a sport will not be as popular as it is right now.

 

without the like of pele, ronaldo, maradona, zidane, etc., football wont be as popular as it is now.

I believe its their skills that made those names and personality and eventually makes the sports popular. without their skills it would have been just another name... so lets replace skills training with personality training... Now we can win the world cup! yahoo!

be fair to the azkals, they, for me, are overachievers. recently lang sila binuo and they are making a name, at least for us filipinos, in the world of football.

Sir i believe its a must for anyone who wants to be called a patriot or for someone "playing for the flag" though not the only qualification... but its fundamental..

ain't it funny to see a so called "patriot" mumbling and jumbling the national anthem ... it don't adds to the credibility...

Our expectation maybe too much, too early... others called it a bandwagon... I hope its not just a fad. because I believe Filipinos has a future in football... more than in basketball...

Guys, I want to learn photography. The art and concepts. Ok lang po ba if digicam lang ang dala ko? Meron din ako de film na SLR kaso wala nang battery na available dito sa amin province.

First you have to know what field of photography that you are interested, it maybe landscape, portrait, macro etc (this will make it easier for you to decide what kind of equipment that fits your needs)... basically the concept of photography is about light, how much and how less light do you want to your shots...

Well for the art part, for me it something that is innate to an artist, it is you who will define it... Digicam (Aim and shoot) is fine for beginners, but as you go along you will definitely get bored by it because it limits your freedom artistically... and that is where manually controlled DSLR will come in...

For a start, you have to learn what is a composition (rule of third)... then control the light by learning the relationship between shutter speed, aperture, ISO and white balance...
