Mahal, and parang casa - likes to recommend repairs which are actually unnecessary.

Will visit Balay Dako this weekend and try their breakfast buffet. Hope the selections are good and sulit.
Might visit the cool CBTL shop at Crosswinds, too.
hi fooboo, you can try the "most beautiful" Starbucks too - its along the quiet part of the main road (going towards Highlands), mostly made of wood and with a good view of the lake. Go for the view, not for the coffee LOL.
have fun!!

hi fooboo,
Balay Dako is part of the Antonio's group. Food is good, but not spectacular. I guess it can be best described as Filipino comfort food in a grand setting (the wooden house is pretty nice inside, plus the view). Didn't know there was a buffet, though. It's a big resto, so maybe that's why.
How's the food? I called them earlier and they have breakfast buffet during weekends and holidays from 7am-12pm. Price per head is 495 nett (same with Bag of Beans). I haven't read any reviews yet about the buffet selection.

Hi fooboo, yup Casas offers accommodations - best to check their website for special offers. I've heard the place is nice, etc., but rather quiet. So it's best for a relaxing vacation, not for something very active. A bit pricey, but then again the owner spent a lot of money to develop the place, and he got all these old decrepit native houses from all over the country and rebuilt them brick by brick, so points for effort
Do they offer hotel accommodation? How much are their rates? Salamat sa sasagot.

there's no shortage of hotels in Tagaytay, whether with view of Taal Volcano or not. You just do a Google search or check Trip Advisor.

at this point, it is cheaper if you just hire an accountant for a monthly retainer. Just make sure reliable sya (i.e. does the paper work properly), and make sure you keep copies of the documents (BIR forms, etc.)

di naman natin pwede i-lump lahat na china-made phones as being of bad quality. Brands like Huawei and Xiaomi have similar specs vs. Samsung, etc. in terms of processor, camera, at lower prices.
Of course, if the china phone is very cheap (for example, P3K or P2K lang), syempre do not expect too much. You get what you pay for.

Best to check the youngpinoymillonaire.com website - it has an article detailing how EMGOLDEX is a scam. Caveat emptor!

Agree with Eika. UITFs / mutual funds is a good option - just choose the fund that is in sync with your appetite for risk. Or if you have time to monitor, try investing in the stock market (but remember you can triple your money easily AND lose your shirt as easily), so if P200K represents your lifetime savings, wag na lang.

Looks like the Spurs are peaking at the right time. Wouldn't mind seeing them win back to back!
