  2. I second the motion, Mr. Palakol. 'Di baleng pagod ka, 'wag ka lang kakapusin sa tulog.

For me, it depends on the time of my work. Currently, I work at day so most likely I workout after office hours. Of course, you need to rest first before you begin a workout. If my time of work is different, I would have to adjust my time for workout.

Kung dedicated ka naman na mag-workout, nagagawan naman ng paraan eh. :)

  3. Cotto is not the same eversince Margarito destroyed him.

He is not the same Cotto who beat Mosley in 2007.

But Mosley is not the same Mosley who almost lost to Mayorga when he faced Margarito.

The question now is which Cotto will show up against Manny?

    Good point, Sir. ^_^

Is the Cotto prior to the Margarito fight the same one that will Manny face? We'll have to wait until the middle of November (which is the announced month for the fight).

  4. I love Nike! :thumbsupsmiley:

Especially the shoes, t-shirts, and jacket. I am an avid fan of this brand ever since I was a young boy. And yeah, I like their tagline. Simple and easy to remember. ;)

  5. Hmmm.. Panalo nga dito..

Add ko lang din "Tapsi sa Maynila" Asturias, likod ng UST. Lagi ako dito nung college day. Mura na, sarap pa. Dami pa mga patok ng chicky hahahaha

    :thumbsupsmiley:

Yeah, I agree. :thumbsupsmiley: I remember those days when I take my lunch on those places. And yes, the price is truly affordable (during my time). The food there are one of the best that I've eaten. ;)

  6. I just saw SFIV on PS3, and I was blown away with the graphics! :thumbsupsmiley:

I can't hardly wait to play this one, it's been a long time since Capcom last released a SF game. ^_^

  7. With so many opponents that are lining up for the Pacman, it is hard to tell who will be his next opponent. Most people think that either Mayweather, Jr., Cotto or Mosley will be Pacman's possible foe. I'm not sure right now who will Pacman face. But it does not matter for him, as long as he is ready to fight in October. He's not really picky in terms of choosing an opponent.

  8. i  free weights...

Me, too. I really love doing it. :thumbsupsmiley:

Good thing that I've read some sites (years ago) about the significance of strength training. I admit, I used to do splits. But after many years of doing it, I never achieved the results that I wanted. :thumbsdownsmiley:

Not until I switched to doing compound exercises (bench press, squats, dynamic rows, etc). I'm amazed that I became stronger, and bigger at the same time, in just a matter of months. ;)

  9. ^ Nay, mag buksing na rin kasi kayo.

Uu nga, Nay. Para maiksersays ang katawan nyu. :thumbsupsmiley:

    'Pag sumakit, mag-Alaxan (i)F(a)R kau.

    ('Yan ang ikspert!)

  10. kapag natalo pa si Silva kay Franklin, magretire na sya

You're right, Sir. Rich already lost twice to one Silva (Anderson). He cannot afford to lose his fight to another Silva (Wanderlei). Not a good situation right now for 'Rich'. He needs to get back on track if he wants to remain in the UFC.

  11. Lyoto Machida vs Mauricio Rua confirmed for UFC 104 on October 24

It’s time for some Brazilian-on-Brazilian crime.

MMAmania.com has learned that bout agreements have been signed for the light heavyweight title fight between newly-minted champion Lyoto Machida (15-0) and 2005 Pride FC Middleweight Grand Prix winner Mauricio Rua (18-3) for UFC 104 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, on October 24.

“Shogun” is coming off a first round technical knockout of former 205-pound champion, Chuck Liddell, at UFC 97: “Redemption” last month. He defeated Mark Coleman via third round technical knockout in a lackluster performance earlier this year at UFC 93: “Franklin vs. Henderson” to earn a crack at the “Iceman.”

It’s perhaps not the match up that most fans expected, especially when UFC President Dana White was quick to announce that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson would be the first to challenge Machida for his newly-won world title. But that all went out the window a few days later when Jackson apparently pressed UFC officials to settle a score with Rashad Evans via The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 first rather than compete to get his belt back.

That left "The Dragon" — who flattened Evans at UFC 98 to win the belt — all of a sudden without a number one contender … until now.

Despite his recent success, some UFC fans still aren’t sold on the abilities of Rua, who must now muster up some of the mojo he had during his blistering run in PRIDE to try and overcome an opponent who went from tentative to homicidal in the span of three figthts.

Machida will also try to stop the revolving door that has continued to spin atop the division afterChuckLiddell coughed up the 205-pound belt just over two years ago. In fact since May of 2007, the light heavyweight title has changed hands a total of four times.

No question Rua will be looking to make it five.

Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for more details on UFC 104 as they develop.

This will be a great fight. :thumbsupsmiley:
